Finally, a really flattering hairstyle, simple and stylish. No sight of hemlet hair. I even like the style of the dress, the pattern not so much. But overall, very nice indeed. Amy

  4. I like the colors and pattern in this dress but overall I think that it looks a bit too tight.
I' m not too sure how Mathilde manages the cobblestone streets in those high heels.

And why shouldn't Mathilde be colourful??? It is spring in Europe, she is a lovely lady and looks good. Not a big fan of that structured hair, but it is just my personal taste.

Beautiful dress by Dries Van Noten. The dress style is simple and fits her very well. Queen Mathilde wore this dress twice last summer. The first time to receive the title of Dr. Honoris Causa of the University of Hasselt in Limburg (Belgium) and secondly for the state visit of The Netherlands to Belgium. I like the style of her hair. She also starts to wear her broad golden bracelets again of which she has 3 different ones. Her earrings are by Percossi Papi.

  8. Contrary to comments above, I like the colors of the dress, however not really today's hairstyle, a bit too traditional. My favorite for her is the one she had on April 24th. Globally so traditional today, is the dress a reuse ? On pic 2, she looks older than she is, or than usual.

She looks older because of that updo...

      @ MaryT
I loved her hair too on April 24. Some commenters write that it is her "helmet" hair. Now that she has an up do it is too traditional. One cannot please everybody all the time. Read my comment of 07:32 concerning the reuse.

9:42, is “looking older” a negative? - to debate! The side profile pic pleases me, the hair styling looks lovely. (Grace)

The dress is lovely, I love the colors, and the hairstyle suits her as well. And the lighting affects quite a bit how ”old” or ”young” one looks, much more so than any hairstyle or dress.

Beautiful dress both in style and colour. Earrings and wide gold bracelet are perfect complement. I like the colour of the shoes but not the see through plastic details.

  12. Now this is good. Well fitted dress with some lovely colours but a pattern that's not too busy. Great shoes as well and a very flattering hairstyle. A real winner

This is a dress I would wear myself, and my style aligns the closest with Letizia. I really like it. I also love her hair like this. It is not old fashioned or too traditional, but new again. Young women wear updos like this with jeans and a tshirt. They soften it a little, but the idea is there. I don't usually find her hairstyle flattering, but love this. This dress is a sheath, so it is meant to hug the body. The colors are fantastic! Great look for Mathilde.
