SafeLives is the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse, for everyone and for good. For many years, Queen Camilla has worked to highlight the efforts of domestic abuse charities and their work to support victims and survivors, both in the UK and overseas, with the aim of breaking the taboo around the subject.

Not really nice what QC is wearing here; a pinafore like that always gives me a school uniform feeling and in this case it's all very dark and gloomy although the blouse seems lovely

Camilla is looking joyful and welcoming. I wouldn’t choose that blouse for me but it actually really suits her, and is a re-wear which I always appreciate. The “pinafore” is really neat and a good length and she looks so comfy and in her element at this event. Good on her. (Grace)

Ummm, the colour seems to dark on QC, although this style fits her well, good working attire. It disappoints me that young people do not dress appropriately when invited to the palace or for a business meeting with the queen. I mean jeans and a hoodie, really.

    1. È probabile che non ci sia un dress code per i ragazzi invitati dalla regina e che vengono lasciati liberi di scegliere come presentarsi. Forse proprio una scelta di Camilla.

And those jeans could do with a good wash and iron.

I love this dress on Camilla. Spring is in the air with a lighter look, if not a lighter colour. Had she worn lighter coloured stockings and different shoes it would have looked even better.

    1. Like Duchess Sophie's overly long dresses, Queen maxima's hair, I think Queen Camilla's boots are something we have to just grit our teeth and live with! It's a very wintry outfit but she looks happy and relaxed which is, perhaps, the most important thing.

So do I. I know it is not warm nowadays but she could at least wore something in a brighter color. If you are not warm enough wear a jacket over your dress and put those boots away until next Winter.

QC always looks very comfortable in her clothing. Could she look more modern? Absolutely, but I think it’s just not in her nature. Thankfully her tiara events are usually far more interesting. (V.M.)

I like this re-wear from queen Camilla. I hope next time she will pair it with a black blouse instead so that it looks more cohesive. Her make up is lovely and her hair is her usual signature which I love.

@T. More black ? She could also wearing it with a white blouse underneath. If I could have dressed her, I would have chosen a plain midi skirt, a beautiful blouse with a print and a bright jacket in one of the colors in her blouse. A pair of comfortable shoes with a little heel. She would have looked a thousand times better and sophisticater than now.

  8. Cette robe convient bien à Camilla mais portée sur un chemisier de couleur claire unie, cela aurait été plus gai à l'intérieur du Palais surtout que j'aurais envoyé les bottes se reposer !
