I’m a “scan” reader and tend to see only the forest and not the trees, that is, I often miss the details.
I’ve been told that when it comes to reading I’m "hypermetropia", that is farsighted.
So, again, thanks Ladyofthemanor for helping me.

@ Vanessa, you' ve made my day! Honesty, was thinking the same but didn't know how to word that out😁
Charlene and Beatrice are fabulous , each one with their own fashion choices.
I can't deny that I absolutely prefer Charlene's jacket, very much what I myself usually favour as far as cut, lines, design and just everything on it are concerned.
Beatrice could be a stunner even with a sack on, she's a born diva👍

Everyone looks great at this fun outing. The standouts are Charlene’s sunglasses and huge earrings. The photos are too far away to know for sure if they are diamond earrings or earrings with diamonds, but they are gigantic and beautiful!

Great day for fashion at the tennis matches! Charlene looks fabulous--very chic in her white and navy blue with a huge pair of maybe diamonds or pearls (would love to know more about the earrings). Beatrice looks beautiful in a very spring outfit in what appears to aqua or turquoise in color. Jacques is such a handsome boy--dressed like dad sans the tie.

  12. What I love most about Princess Charlene's ensemble is that it is not gender- specific and is similar to my taste. For me all I would have to do is add one of my favorite bow ties and that is all I would have to do! FITZHUGH

Charlene is dressed lovely and appropriate . Why Prince Jacques must be dressed like an adult ? It must be hot to look at a tennis match. The children of Queen Maxima and Queen Mathilde were always dressed according their age and the circumstances. To look at a tennis match when the weather is hot the prince is dressed too formal. They are not in a church or on a ceremony for the national holiday.

@ Syd. Yes she is his cousin : Melanie de Massy, but that is all I know about her. I'll have to make time to do some research.

@Syd. In the meantime I took a quick look on the internet and the story is quite complicated. Best you google the name Melanie de Massy (she has more names) and you will find the complete story. In big lines I found out she is the granddaughter of Prince Rainier's sister.

  17. @anonymous 07:51 perhaps he wanted to emulate his father as Prince George did at Wimbledon one year and was heard saying he was too hot - children learn by experience.

I also found that Prince George was dressed too old at Wimbledon, but in the answers I got to my comment they said that he had to follow the dress code for men at Wimbledon just like the adults. Of course if you have to do that you don't have much choice. I don't know if there is a dress code for children at the Monte Carlo ATP masters tournament on the Monte Carlo Rainier court in Monte Carlo, Monaco

Let's talk about the sunglasses. Beatrice Borromeo by far the best. Second in place Melany de M. Very extraordinary. Charlene, a nice model but personally I don't like sunglasses that are a kind of mirrors and for that matter Jacques' sunglasses look awful. Pricess Alexandra's youthful and modern

  20. Ah, the almost always immaculately dressed Beatrice Borromeo-Casiraghi. It might be that she is the true successor (fashionwise, as she is, of course, not related to her late grandmother-in-law) to Princesse Gracia (aka Grace Kelly).

I wonder in which country she was called Princesse Gracia ?. We always called her by her real name Princess Grace. Grace Kelly was her real name. She did not had an artistic name when she was a star in Hollywood.
Beatrice Borromeo cannot be compared with Princess Grace. She has a completely different style. What she is wearing now is not bad for a tennis match, but we are used to see her more dressed up. The pants she is wearing now remember me the cotton my mother bought to make summer clothes for me when I was a little girl.

I must admit that I am shocked by some of the comments. There are some almost aggressive replies, mean judgements, etc. We are all women with different styles, tastes, backgrounds, beliefs and so on. Why can't we just accept or tolerate other people's opinion or comments without being rude or supposing that every single comment is an attack? I wish the tone were a bit nicer given the fact that a lot of us are not English native speakers and do make mistakes. This includes my English and I don't want to offend anyone with these lines. That being said I must say although I am generally not a fan of maritime outfits Charlene looks very nice! I especially like her hairstyle. I.P.

I agree. But it works in 2 directions. It is not because someone does not agree with the opinion of someone else and explain why, that it means one is rude. Everybody has the right to have an opinion and everybody has the right to explain that opinion. There are people who are very sensitive and do not like that someone else tells them they have a different opinion. There are also people who don't know the true story sometimes because they are too young. There are older people on this blog who know things about the royals that took place a long time ago. That is why I always refer to google. There is a lot of information on the internet when you google the name of a royal which appears in the comments. Those who just wish to stick to fashion comments O.K. for me too. You don't have to bother then to look up things via google or other sources. Enjoy.

    2. I would like to correct you about your comment we are all women. I enjoy following the Royals and discovered this blog and it gave me another outlet on the Royals and it just so happened to be about fashion which I enjoy to. Maybe there are more guys who enjoy Newmyroyals who may choose to comment as anonymous and not there name. From a guy who enjoys all of your comments no matter if you are a man or woman!!!!!!!!!!!
