  1. Elégant tailleur-pantalon de couleur orange vif dont les jambes du pantalon aux lignes droites ; je pense avoir déjà vu ses boucles d'oreilles !

The risk here is that it comes across a little garbageman-like. There should be a combination with a color contrast.

Anonymous, in which country do garbagemen wear orange suits? USA? I don’t think that’s a thing in Sweden so I don’t think she would have imagined this criticism when she chose the suit?! I find it a simple smart trick for her to wear a mono coloured suit for her day-in-day-out public engagements. (Grace)

Where I live the garbagemen do not wear an orange suit. There is a color contrast : the shirt underneath is white and the shoes and handbag are black.

    3. Garbageman look … no.
It comes across to me like “I’m going to the King’s day in the Netherlands once I’m finished here”. 😁

In germany, the "Müllmänner" do wear orange. But i think, this colour suits the princess, so why not? anna e.

    6. Brilliant idea, Deadeggs. I love this suit. It's a perfect fit, trouser length is ideal and a contrasting non fussy top beneath the jacket. The Crown Princess looks great. Unfortunately, my thoughts went to the orange jump suits worn by prisoners in American jails!

  3. Although she looks good, I must say I find the colour "too loud".

This suit has a weird cut. Doesn’t fit well and seems to be made from cheap polyester. She insists on wearing trouser suits and the broad majority don’t fit her at all. More often than not, they are from second tier manufacturers with really bad environmental practices. Seems a waste to me, instead of 4-5 Zara suits, she’d be better off with one high quality one (doesn’t need to be Armani or Dior, there are some well cut, high quality ones available from Reiss, Paul Smith etc…..

-Dorothe-

Orange is a fashion color. I am getting the impression that only a few people on this blog are liking what is fashion. They have something against short skirts and dresses, they have something against wide pants, they have something against the monochromatic look, etc...

      @ Coralie
Yes but the long dresses are worn by women who are rather short and the proportions are mostly bad. If you look at the models who present the dresses and skirts their hemline comes a bit longer than just under the knee. A dress that ends on the ankles is not beautiful. It is too short to be long and too long to have a normal length adapted to the wearers length.

Yes to the different hairstyle but no to the pairing of the orange suit and black boots.

I love the colour, and it suits her own darker colouring perfectly. Not everyone can wear orange, and not everyone has the guts to wear it, but it's so refreshing to see other colours too than just the normal sad navy-beige-grey-black collection most of the people (including the royals) are wearing nowadays. I think QEII also wore orange dresses every now and then.

I agree, I would like to see more dresses. CPrincess Victoria looks good in that suit but I find the colour "too loud" and I can't believe she is not wearing her plastic hair clip, finally a simple and nice pony tail.
