On April 10, 2024, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited the Supreme Court of Sweden in Stockholm. Upon arrival, the Crown Princess couple were welcomed by Administrative Director Jens Wieslander and President of the Supreme Court Justice Anders Eka. The Supreme Court of Sweden (Högsta domstolen, HD) is the supreme court and the third and final instance in all civil and criminal cases in Sweden.

I think a different pair of pants would look better with this jacket. These pants do not look right in front with the cropped jacket.

Agree. And also when visiting HD. Black trousers and not those heels, I think that would have been better. The husband needs to ask his grandfather for a tailor and wash that hair, he looks so outdated to me. C
DeleteI agree his suits are not always looking good, but you cannot see that his hair is washed or not. The man has thinning hair and he combs it in a way to hide a bit that problem. On the other hand I've read on this blog that his health is not quite well. That could explain his face is not looking fresh and he is looking very tired.
DeleteTo Anonymous 06.38! From C - Ohh, expressed myself badly, I didn’t mean Daniel’s hair is dirty, most probably it isn’t, only full of styling gel or something like that. His hair can be very nice when not styled so I think it’s a pity that he puts something in it….doesn’t look fresh in my eyes. C

DeleteIf you are loosing your hair you have not much possibilities left. I think he is using gel or wax to keep his hair in place, there where it has thinned the most. I know the problem, loosing much hair myself sometimes. I have been helped by my dermatologist and have to continue regularly the treatment she prescribed to me . My hairdresser cuts my hair not too short on top of my head (where the hair loss is most visible) and shorter in the neck and on the side parts. Doing this I can manage to maintain a lovely hairstyle, but I have to continue the treatment and the precautions for the rest of my life.
Lovely jacket worn as should be this time, but, wrong trousers! Daniel really needs to change his style and tailor.

DeleteThe Chanel-style jacket fits well. I think black trousers might have been a better choice to highlight the braiding, but perhaps she chose white to signal the coming of Spring (V.M.)

DeleteThe models have measurements that fill in with the designers creations. They do not correspond with the measurements of women in real life. On the other hand how many times the clothes that a model has to present on a fashion show or photo shoot must quickly be adapted behind the scene (the length of the sleeves f. ex.).
DeleteWhen I buy jackets the sleeves are almost always too long. I make them shorter myself now. On different occasions I asked the boutique to do it for me, but the result was so bad that I had to start it all over again. The thing is that I had to pay for it. Now I prefer to do it myself, at least it is done like it should be and it costs nothing.
Her trousers doesn’t sitt well but this Andiata jacket is lovely.

ReplyDeleteShe looks nice, and appropriate, but I don't like the way these pants fit - or the jacket for that matter. The sleeves are little too long. I think this must be directly off the rack without any tailoring done.

ReplyDeleteThe jacket is lovely as was the short jacket she wore yesterday. However the black shoes with the white trousers look awful. Not sure about the style of the trousers with this jacket even if the shoes were light coloured.

A skirt would had looked better with this gorgeous jacket. The crutch on the pants is too long look like she just threw them on at the last minute. Why boots?
ReplyDeleteI always consider C.P. Victoria to look very proper. This time however looks like they both just got out of bed. Even her makeup looks like a quick job. The pants, blk boot and abd length of sleeves allows for much to be desired!

ReplyDeleteCP Victoria has difficult hair. The only thing she can do when she would wish to let her hair down and to get rid of her curls is to call for a hairstylist every time she has an obligation.
DeleteOn the other hand we all know that too much washing and too much brushing or using a style device is not good for anyone's hair.
Better to have perhaps a less attractive hairstyle now than to have very thinning hair when she will be older.
She inherited her father's curls. When you look at the pictures from when he was young, he had a lot of curls too. He didn't had the most attractive hairstyle either in that period, when other young men did their hair in a complete different style.
Nice jacket, I think it would look better with a black pants or a pencil skirt. css
ReplyDeleteLove the jacket--very Chanel-esque. The trousers look a bit odd for some reason--maybe the waist area doesn't work with this cropped jacket. Then, the black shoes or boots are all wrong with the white trousers. The pleated trousers on the model work much better than the straight front style Victoria has chosen. I think a skirt would have been a better choice.

DeleteEl conjunto es una delicia, pero estoy de acuerdo, que hubieran quedado mejor unos pantalones como el que lleva la modelo. Los zapatos negros para mi lo hacen mas elegante.
