Ce rouge attire le regard mais les manches de la robe sont moches.

In my opinion, there is much more than an official portrait to be seen on this poster.
This is another chapter of one of the most touching, pure and sublime love stories I have ever seen.
    Magnificent, both of them.
Pss Mette- Marit is a dream, she is simply breathtaking and majestic in her burgundy gown.
Love makes both shine, no more words needed.

OMG! Crown Princess Mette-Marit looks breathtakingly stunning! What a statement dress, perfect coloured red, very becoming on her. Love the dress, the hair, the diamond jewels, and the very dashing Crown Prince Haakon on her arm. They both look so Regal in beautiful surroundings. Pia

What I always love about her is how simple and authetic she is such, the media does not give her the flowers. They love each other and the respect in there deeply. Sh er loves her inlaws, to me that is class

A beautiful couple. I like the dress very much. I think it is the best gala dress I've ever seen on CP Mette Marit. The sleeves are special, but I like it because the "balloons" start under the elbow.

Very lovely pictures; both of them looking without reserve straight in the camera.
The dark red dress is really regal.

  11. I love this royal couple and the Crown Princess MM's red dress is breathtaking! However, the lighting in this photo is off and there are too many shadows that distract from its royal subjects.

Gorgeous dress would love to know more about the embellishments/embroidered motif. The placement of the embellished sleeves fall perfectly on the plain part of the dress just brilliant.

      Traditional Norwegian flower motif.

I agree 100% with Lili, they look amazing and were captured beautifully. But I think the photographer did not do a good job with the lighting as there are too many oddly placed shadows, especially in both their faces, I also think the background is too bland and that MM's head is placed oddly against the square cutouts of the door. Not even a single floor vase with flowers to add some color or liveliness. Whatever effect the photographer was going for, I always feel that official portraits have a historical purpose, and therefore should show the subjects clearly, and entirely (head to toe), which they did here. S.M.

The colours, shaddows and the gorgeous dress & uniform give me strong renaissance vibes. A truly stunning portrait! KK

The red dress is beautiful. It is just slightly lower around the neckline than many of her other dresses and it is just perfect. Interesting balloon sleeves. The fabric seems to be embroidered. Gorgeous!

This has got to be one of the best gowns that she has ever worn, hands down. They both look more like a King and a Queen in this portrait rather than the heir + spouse.
I do hope that she’ll wear this dress in public soon as I’d love to see more of both the gown and the puffed sleeves.
