On March 4, 2024, Queen Sofía of Spain attended the Callia Foundation's 2024 Ibero-American Patronage Awards ceremony that took place at San Fernando Fine Art Royal Academy (Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando) in Madrid.
Queen Sofía presented the Ibero-American Patronage Awards to President of the Eduardo Leon Jimenez Foundation Maria Amalia Leon, and Mexican businessman Antonio del Valle Ruiz, and the French conceptual artist Daniel Buren.
