Beatrice looks beautiful—gorgeous hair. And her dress is classically lovely and flattering. Quite a contrast to the woman standing next to her in one of the photos, whose dress is trashy and overdone.

I agree on Beatrice. She looks fantastic, hair and make-up look great and she's wearing a gorgeous dress. I wouldn't call the other outfit trashy; just not suitable for the benefit of a children's foundation. Damsel Dragonfly

I also agree. I said this before, Edo has helped Beatrice evolve her style. She is now a class above her earlier self from 10-12 years ago.

As to the lady who left almost nothing to imagination (near Beatrice), it never ceases to amaze me how some women (and their partners, for that matter) can allow themselves to show up in such distasteful outfits. Makes one nauseous.

I think this is a bit of an unusual - awkward, even - dress for a Black-tie Ball.
It may fit Beatrice well, but it is not well selected for this event. It also looks longer than midi length on her, but I prefer it worn as a midi dress as designed to be.

I hope you can be that much of a stickler about length when Sophie wears dresses overly long instead of wearing them as they were designed to be worn. I think Beatrice he dress length is probably good here but the camera angle is deceiving us.

  3. Je remarque que depuis son mariage Beatrice a beaucoup embelli et amélioré son goût pour se vêtir ; son époux est chaussé d’élégants chaussons que je ne pense pas convenables pour ce bal !

Beatrice and Edo look quite nice together. Edo’s shoes - evening slippers? - caught my eye.

Beatrice looks beautiful and I love her dress! Modern, elegant, and so chic. She and Edo are such a handsome couple.

I agree as well. I don't like any of the outfits on this picture. Especially the jackets of the men and house slippers of Edo. They look weird.

Are you really placing everyone on the same level in your comment ? I think Beatrice's dress is fine, cannot see anything wrong with the cutout in the back. Don't know who the other young lady is, her outfit is a bit trashy however not shocking.

Would prefer the dress in a lighter colour but it looks smart and Princess Beatrice looks lovely Her husband always seems to have a vaguely startled look when photographed

  8. Beatrice looks beautiful. Her dress is classic and elegant. Certainly her style has been greatly elevated from past years (as many of us can identify with in respect to ourselves). Also, she is succeeding at keeping her weight down.

    1. I don't think her weight is relevant. One can be well-tailored and suitably dressed at any size.

Edo and Beatrice are by far the most elegant of all the young couples in the British Royal Family. I love it when they make the scene, they represent so well

Not sure what kind of getup the woman pictured with them is wearing but she is vulgar in the extreme.

Very elegant couple. Beatrice looks great, she has changed in style for the best since being with Edoardo, glad to see her radiant.

Edo is not of course wearing house slippers. These evening shoes are usually from Italy and are worn by many elegant men.

I still find they are looking like house slippers. Not to speak about the other couple who is accompanying them. The man forget to change his jeans and put a descend black pair of trousers on. The woman looks trashy.
