Will be exciting to see if they are the CP couple in a year or two. In febuary a
meeting to address and determine a stable succession to the throne was held: the main topic addressed was the possible creation of female branches of the imperial family, allow the Princesses to be able to inherit the leadership of the branch of which they are already part, and that they will be able to remain into the Imperial Family after their marriages. The need to address the problem of female family members immediately and quickly was stressed. It has also been suggested that the possible creation of branches led by the Imperial Princesses could lead to the future accession to the throne of a reigning Empress.

Does that mean Aiko could become the crown princess?

They have been debating this since 2006 I think, but probably not. If they finally do anything it's probably gonna be for the future, but at least Aiko won't lose her title when she get married.

Crown Prince Akishino would look better with a different hair style and I also think he should cut his moustache because it does nothing for him. Crown Princess Kiko looks very nice in her pale yellow kimono. mjt
