Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is making a four-day working visit to Bangladesh in her capacity as Goodwill Ambassador for the UNDP (The United Nations Development Programme). This visit is the Crown Princess' first official mission since her appointment as UNDP Goodwill Ambassador in October last year.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is accompanied by UN Assistant Secretary-General Ulrika Modeer, and Sweden's Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Johan Forssell during the visit.
Swedish Crown Princess Victoria makes field visits to witness firsthand the impact of inclusive digital development on poverty reduction in rural Bangladesh. Swedish Crown Princess Victoria also visits initiatives led by women and young entrepreneurs, who are aiming to mitigate the effects of climate change.
I like the flow of the skirt, very nice on the princess. Shoe colour is very complimentary. Overall good choice for the occasion
ReplyDeleteA very pretty dress with an unusual and interesting print. I think it suits CPV very well. I prefer it with a nude coloured shoe, and for this visit a lower heel, kitten or block, would work too. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteI like this pretty dress. The tight pleating makes the skirt soft and feminine. It also ticks all the boxes for local modesty as far as the neckline, sleeves and hemline go. The only thing I'd question are the shoes. Not sure if high stilettoes match the look; I'd have chosen a lower heel and a darker colour.

Agree @Anon 9:13
DeleteMusn’t be easy to chose a wardrobe that meets with all the cultural and climatic requirements. But I’m sure there is a lot of work and planning done in advance.
Look forward to seeing what happens in the next couple of days.
I think this dress is very appropriate for her first visit as Goodwill Ambassador for the UN . The landscape print contains light blue color matching the light blue stiletto's. If she cannot walk anymore on these shoes because her feet hurt she will probably change her shoes and wear lower heels or sneakers. We will see.
ReplyDeleteYes to the dress ;^)
ReplyDeleteNo to the shoes. The colour is good, but 👠 don't seem right for this trip.
Yes to the shoes, No to the dress from my side

DeleteAs long as she doesn't have to walk in the fields her shoes are fine and matching the dress. After all she can walk on the red carpet and sit in a chair. We will see what happen on the next days.
Not a fan...
ReplyDeleteI think I might prefer if her shoes were the same color as her clutch.

Lovely as ever. Great smile. css
ReplyDeleteThis dress looks lovely, the pattern of the fabric is beautifully done. The skirt is fabulous, pleated, but plenty of swish and movement. The shoes are a pretty color, but the large bag over her shoulder appears to be a different color to her shoes, I like the same shade, regardless it doesn't look too bad. Overall very feminine and elegant look.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you on all points. The shoes are lovely and I like the orange clutch but wish they matched!
DeleteSuch a pretty dress! The swish of the skirt makes the whole dress look even more beautiful. I loke the blue shoes but am iffy on the orange handbag (I really don't like orange so maybe that's driving my opinion). Victoria looks lovely in this dress.

Awful dress. Boring hairstyle.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup le plissé de la robe mais pas avec ces motifs ; j'adore quand je la vois marcher. D'autre part, ses chaussures de la même couleur que sa pochette auraient mieux convenu !
ReplyDeleteThe dress is lovely in style but for me the whole thing is spoilt with what looks like swans swimming across the front of the bodice.
ReplyDeleteWith all due respect. this dress is the worst.
