  2. I love the color of this dress but I think that some of my fellow bloggers will comment that it is granny like.

I agree, the style, the shiny fabric and the bow.

You are completely right. My thoughts exactly ;) Anne

    3. The fabric is too shiny, that is true. But aside from that I find the dress charming and feminine!

The dress is quite pretty. It is the hair bun that is granny.

    5. I like both colour and style of this dress and the bow is okay since it's not too tight at the neck. If it were in cotton, I think the dress would immediately look better.

She is looking very demure and decent in that elegant-looking dress. The Bangladeshis are looking like paupers wearing borrowed suits, I must say. The princess is looking extremely bold and beautiful with very little makeup.

    7. I think it looks better on her than on the model. It drapes very well.

    1. Dea Kudibal uses mainly a silk stretch fabric for most of its production.
The Fashion House is a Copenhagen, Danish company established just over 20 years ago.
Their prices seem to be very reasonable.

      It's 90 % silk. Not too bad.

  4. Bien sûr, il faut lire la moitié de la hauteur du volant au lieu de la largeur !

I do not think the shiny fabric of this dress looks attractive. Also do not care for the bottom panel/flounce.

I wonder if she dresses like this due to the country she is visiting and feels she needs to dress very modestly.

Yes, well, maybe but I think her choice is more for the climate.
Bangladesh has a tropical monsoon-type climate and with the humidity, your clothes can cling to you.
You need free flowing, loose fitting clothes.
Dea Kudibal dresses are made from a lightweight, silk stretch fabric.

She has much better dresses than this. The style of the dress makes her look older than she is. On the model (who is a complete different type of woman) it is not beautiful either.

A lovely frock CP Victoria is wearing for her visit as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme. Her sense of style, knowledge, and adapting to different climates is always spot on. The spring look, combined with adapting to culture in each country she visits is appropriate.

Nice colour and if it is silk it would be very comfortable in the hot humid climate with no need to wear stockings.

    1. Generally, stockings are out in a hot humid climate except for an evening event.

Oh No! I this is the worst granny look she has ever had!

  13. It looks like a appropriate comfortable dress but I think different shoes would have worked better with it and the climate. Thank goodness the bow is not done up pussy bow style.

The style and especially the color do not complement the Crown Princess.

If the CP likes clothes like this, I urge her to wear them at home. But in public, please dress like the future Queen of Sweeden. She has a lovely figure, so please dress in clothes that are appropriate for your age, not something that drags you down and gives the appearance you are much older. We just saw Princess Charlene's stunning outfit of white coat and black accessories. Victoria could wear the same type/styles and look fabulous. Trying not to criticize, but just making some observations.

I rather like the shiny dress , it is nice for a change and I bet it is much prettier in person. I guess we will just have to get use to the go to bun as she seems to prefer her hair styled this way. I too would like to see her wear a new style such as a chignon or a nice ponytail! FITZHUGH

Lovely day look in green for Victoria. The modest style of dress is perfect for Bangladesh as it a predominantly Muslim country. Excellent and thoughtful choice. As for her hair--I feel she has developed this no muss, no fuss style for her Crown Princess at Work professional look. Its neat, her hair is simply done, and out of her face no matter the weather. She is a future Queen Regnant as opposed to a future consort--I think she is setting a different look and style in her pubic appearances.

I think this is an example of a dress you have to see in reality: the light flowing silk is beautifull, the colour more vivid then at the picture ( see the model).
It is excellent for the occasion, classic and stylish without being too granny.
