On February 15, 2024, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended the opening of the exhibition 'Crossroads: Sweden-Ukraine Through 1000 Years' at the Army Museum. The exhibition is a collaboration between the Army Museum of Sweden with the Army Museum of Ukraine, the National Archives and the National Museum of the History of Ukraine.
The exhibition displays archaeological finds from the Viking Age, and pieces relating to the marriage between Ingegerd Olofsdotter of Sweden and Grand Prince Yaroslav I Vladimirovich of Kiev. It also shows the political alliances made in the 17th and 18th centuries, for example Charles XII's alliance with the Cossack hetman (leader) Ivan Mazepa in the early 18th century, and in addition, pieces relating to the people of Gammalsvenskby and today's war situation.

ردحذفWow ! what elegance for a 80 year old and she is not afraid to wear her classic pumps outside on a frozen ground. What a difference with Camilla who is wearing boots inside a warm palace room. Unless they have to slow down with the heating in all these old palaces.
ردحذفCamilla’s boots are fine! - she likes them, they match many outfits in winter - no stress! Sylvia enjoys other shoes - also fine. However if you look carefully at these beautiful shoes of hers you can see her older feet sitting poorly in these shoes, and as a podiatrist, I would say, you do not need to choose the shoes for fashion, but rather choose something wider with a round toebox for comfort and not to aggravate the poor foot. Fashion can be beautiful but should never hurt (and most particularly with our older queens who deserve comfort!(Grace)

ردحذفThe King's suit is perfection. I'm not a fan of the pussy bow on the Queen's blouse but the colors of her outfit work well together. A slightly mellower lip colour would modernize her whole look.
