Very nice, sharp-looking coat on Princess Anne. She looks good in red.

  3. Quelle grande amélioration dans le style vestimentaire de la princesse Anne ; on pourrait dire qu'elle a rajeuni dans ce caban rouge à boutons et liseré noirs ; il faudrait qu'elle continue sur sa lancée !

Lovely coat but styled badly. Or she should wear darker tights or straight trousers in black wool. The white legs under her black skirt doesn't look elegant at all.

She certainly looks to be having fun and seems to be such a positive, practical and genuine person. She’s always dressed super neatly but with pragmatism and no fuss and that’s a valuable style all of its own! - AnneLise

    2. I wouldn't be too fussy on what she could wear with the red coat, but as always I very much regret she is not looking for a better hair styling. I am aware hair is a low priority for her.

Incredible, a new, flashy coat. Now we can hope for a peppy handbag and some assorted shoes. Lovely smile and rosy lips.

    1. The coat is ok, I wouldn't be sure it is a new one. She is a nice smiling person.

Really nice coat. Looks practical but still smart. Agree with Anon 18 17 that dark tights would have improved the overall look.

The Princess Royal looks fabulous in her red coat--I love it! That one close-up of her with the huge smile is fabulous--to me this is the reall Princess Anne. Full of life, down to earth, loves her "job".

Dear Mary T, Perhaps I was naive. As we were blessed with the BRAND of this red coat, I assumed it was new, but a second look tells me that you are right. Regarding the hairdo, I remember Princess Anne had long, flowing hair for her second wedding. Obviously, this is no longer possible. Her frizzy hair makes styling difficult and very time-consuming, so what do you suggest? Give us some constructive inspiration.

@ Virginia. Leave it to a professional hairdresser. There are good products and good hairdresser's brushes and styling material today to come to an acceptable result. But it will take more than 1 visit from him to her or vice versa. I am not Mary T., Sorry.

Have to love The Princess Royal, she has remained true to her own sense of fashion, works diligently to be the 'working royal with the most engagements' every year, does not fuss, whine, or complain. She is lovely, and though many want her to change her hair, it is her hair, which is difficult to tame, even under the best of circumstances. As women age, hair turns gray, it becomes more wiry and frizzy, but she keeps the hairstyle simple, out of her face, and always looks well maintained. Good on you Anne. Suza

Not so long ago, I saw a picture of Princess Anne taken in the 70tees, which is 20 years ago. Her hair was long and blond and it was frizzy already. So in her case it has nothing to do with age. I am also wondering what she is putting under the parts of her hair that are on each side of her head ?

@ Suza. "the working royal with the most engagements" O.K., but you forgot to add in the U.K. There are other working royals who are busy every day in their own country and abroad.

The Princes Royal, Anne is lovely as usual. Her smile, warm sense of humour, and knowledge about every event she attends shows her dedication to her 'job' as a royal. The outfit for today's occasion, beautiful. Her smile, warm and beautiful as ever.
