Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia attended Project Playground's annual board meeting at the office of Project Playground in Stockholm. Project Playground is a fundraising foundation aiming to improve life opportunities for children and youth in vulnerability and exclusion. The Prince and Princess also attended a meeting with Secretary General of the European Parliament Intergroup on Children's Rights, Emilio Puccio.

DeleteEinen Zweireiher trägt man geknöpft, auch Frau ; ) Es steht nicht jeder Frau und die Farbe ist nicht schön im Februar - in Schweden ist es Winter. Es wirkt auch so langweilig, egal in welcher Farbe welche Royal Dame in Anzug auftritt. Doch für den Prinzen wäre eine neue Farbe beim Anzug schön, ich mag dieses blau nicht so gerne er sollte sich in ein gewagtes Karomuster wagen, es gibt hier so viele feine Stoffe - aber dieses blau ist nur noch langweilig. -Dorothe-
ReplyDeleteWearing dark colors during Winter only are longtime over. Everybody can wear every color he/she likes the whole year. It is not only in Scandinavia that it is Winter. The rest of Europe has been confronted with snow and ice this Winter too. In the south of Spain and France women are wearing black during Summer and Winter, so it is time to change the old attitudes.
DeleteAgree with Dorothe - I would also prefer this colour for spring. It would look just right in April. No need to wear dark only in winter, I even support the call for colour, but light/bright trousers/skirts/dresses seem odd to me this time of the year. There are wonderful tops, jackets, scarfs, accessories, coats and whatnot in stronger brighter colours, so that´s what I´d opt for.
DeleteI must say thought that I mind the cuts of these suits more than the colour. Hers is too big, his is too small. Both by a lot.
I agree with Dorothe as well; for me each season has its own styles and colors, and brings charm.

ReplyDeleteSo after Victoria, Sofia is also wearing a bright spring color. In fact a bit surprising since I guess weather conditions are still "winter", although no snow.

ReplyDeleteThe colour looks good on Sofia, but the cut of the suit is unflattering. Not just on her. A double-breasted blazer is never really chic, especially not when it's worn open. And with these wide trousers. What a pity. It would have been nicer if things had been a bit more form-fitting. Frieda

ReplyDeleteGorgeous color and nice suit for Princess Sofia. I would really love this suit on her if the whole didn't seem so boxy--and I think it would be boxy on anyone because the trouser legs are so wide.

Oh, what a beautiful pale blue colored suit. I do prefer it buttoned up, jacket wise. She looks great.
