European Royals attended the funeral service of Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy

Queen Sofía, Prince Albert, Prince Jean, Prince Charles and Princess Maria Carolina attended funeral of Prince Vittorio Emanuele

Prince Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy, Prince of Naples died in Geneva Cantonal Hospital on 3 February 2024 at the age of 86. The funeral was held on 10 February 2024 at the Cathedral of Turin. Prince Albert of Monaco, Queen Sofía of Spain, Prince Jean of Luxembourg, Italy's former Royal Family and European royals attended the service. The Prince was interred in the royal crypt at the Basilica of Superga, the burial place of the House of Savoy.

Vittorio Emanuele was born 12 February 1937 in Naples as the son of Umberto, Prince of Piedmont, who would later become the last King of Italy as Umberto II, and Princess Marie-José of Belgium. He was the only son of his parents. The Italian royal family was exiled from Italy when the Prince was 9 years old. Vittorio Emanuele lived in Switzerland from the time he was exiled until his death.

    Royalty turned out to give the Prince of Savoy the escort Home. No matter how one felt about him. He was and is the House of Savoy and Italy's History. The outfits are very nice for everyone.. css

      He was a controversial figure, and the involuntary shooting in his youth that killed a young man made him even less likely to ever become a true model of royal class. He couldn’t own his own mistakes and certainly used influence the wrong way. May he rest in peace.

      1. Les autres familles royales, ont-elles reçu une invitation pour assister aux funérailles ?
      2. Les autres familles royales ne veulent peut-être pas être associées avec le défunt.
