On January 16, 2024, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Katherine Low Settlement in Battersea. This year, the Settlement celebrates its 100th establishment anniversary. The Katherine Low Settlement (KLS) is a multi-purpose charity and community center. KLS was opened on May 17, 1924 by the Duchess of York (later Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother)

KLS supports after-school projects, and has a youth club for young people with learning difficulties. For older people, there are pensioners lunch club and health group, mental health drop-in and a support group for carers of people with long-term mental health problems.

Love the ivory and green combo for winter! Also really like the pairing with the rich brown suede boots. Great outfit for the Duchess.

Sophie looks great here! Love the cream and green together and the pairing with the chocolate brown suede boots is perfect.

Seems I am in minority here, but I quite dislike this outfit. Green jacket has no shape, skirt (or is it culottes?) also seems uninspiring. All together even less impressive than she usually is.

No you are not alone. I don't like this outfit either. The green jacket is indeed shapeless. I like the cream and green color but the cognac boots and handbag are not matching very well. A cognac or camel coat would have been better.

Well no, you’re not alone. I don’t really like this outfit, especially the shape and the color of her jacket.

  11. L'association du vert et de la couleur ivoire convient bien à la blondeur de Sophie ; les bottes en daim marron sont parfaites pour compléter son look !

  12. All rugged up, snug and cosy in her winter ensemble.
Only a three quarter length coat is missing.
Green is not my favourite colour but under a cold, sombre London sky it makes an impact.
For our fellow bloggers who live in far away parts of the world, Battersea is a suburb of London about 30 minutes via underground tube from Buckingham Palace.

The shape, colour of the jacket is lacking in fit, and looks rather bulky. For today, this outfit is a miss in my opinion. Edwina

Too strong green colour here, in my opinion. And the materials jacket/skirt do not match. Otherwise, she has such great personality and charisma. Marie-Christine
