On January 8, King Carl XVI Gustaf, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the second day of the National People's and Defense Conference (Folk och Försvar), held at Högfjällshotell in Sälen. The King and Crown Princess Victoria had a ski trip before the second day of the People and Defense National Conference. The event delves into security of the world, Sweden's defence, security of people and emergency preparations of the society.

حذف@ Anon. 21:28 & 21:45 You don't need it but people are wearing more and more bikers helmets when doing cross-country, which I think is not a bad idea. Several years ago bikers didn't wore helmets either but now nobody dares to bike without an helmet anymore.

@ Rosalyn. No I do not live in The Netherlands. But I find it a wise decision of my government to advice that everyone should wear an helmet. There were too many serious accidents with bikers. There was also a time when bike racers in "the Tour de France" did not wear helmets and professional skiers did not wear helmets. Today we cannot imagine this anymore.

حذفAnon at 21:16. Sweden does not prepare for war against Russia. But the fact is that nordic countries must be prepared for the mean tricks from Russia. But there is always Finland with it's effective defence between Sweden and Russia ;) These are very serious times in Europe.

حذفI love CP Victoria in her sports gear. She probably enjoyed her cross country walk before going back in the conference room. It looks like there is a lot of snow in Sweden.
ردحذفI also like her green blazer and jumper. The color suits her very well. Prince Daniel changed his suit for a warm Winter jacket and olive green velvet trousers. I think their warm outfits are necessary because of the weather circumstances.
