On January 23, Dutch Queen Maxima paid a working visit to the Healthcare Evaluation and Appropriate Use (ZE&GG) program. ZE&GG aims to ensure that every patient in the Netherlands receives the proven best care. The visit took place in the VieCuri Medical Center in Venlo, Limburg, where the recommendations from ZE&GG are applied in practice.
ZE&GG is a joint initiative of all parties of the Outline Agreement on Medical Specialist Care. The initiative has the objective to implement appropriate use of specialist medical care. The basic principle of the ZE&GG Program is that the health care assessment must become a part of the regular care processes and care provision.
There's a very fine line between a well fitted short skirt and a skirt that looks just a little too short. I think that this skirt oscillates between the two as Maxima moves (i.e when she is walking vs. when she is standing still) but overall, I think I definitely like this look on her. The fitted look shows her svelte shape and height beautifully, and the blouse, while not my favourite print, is a pleasing contrast. The cape also goes well with both, and her spectacle frames give a look of business professionalism. Overall, very nice!

I like this color combination and Maxima’s blouse. The skirt looks like maybe it’s a little too tight - it looks like it’s pulling in the front in these pictures.

That is the same impression I came away with. However, the outfit pieces work well together and overall I like to look.
DeleteThe Royals do many wonderful things to make these organizations visible. I have to give Maxima a lot of credit for her work. The outfit is very nice.

ReplyDeleteNice outfit, too bad she spoiled the look with the untidy hair. A simple low placed pony tail would have taken the entire look to a Queenly status, rather than a woman with a messy head of hair. Smile is lovely. Clare

Did Max loose weight? She looks amazing. Dress okay but that's about it. But really when is she going to change this spiky hair that ruins the total look

I think the length of the skirt is fine, but I agree with other comments that it's too tight. There seemed to be a trend a couple of years ago where people were almost dleiberately getting the so-tight-it's-pulling look, but I think it would be more flattering (and probably easier to walk up stairs in) with a little more room to breath. Maxima has a fabulous figure and she always looks good in shapes with a defined waist and a little bit of movement.

DeleteThe skirt and blouse I like. The skirt is a bit on the tight side and a bit too short. The blouse is pretty adding interest with its features. I like the color of her accessories. This was a good visit. Well done to her.
