On Wednesday, January 31, Queen Maxima visited the IederMooi Foundation in Goes and the HerstelTalent Foundation in Middelburg. Both foundations are supported by the Oranje Fonds, of which the King and Queen are patrons.
Queen Maxima also discussed with the Orange Fund in the province of Zeeland and with the Association of Zeeland Municipalities about the support given through the Zeeland Heroes Fund for social projects that aim to maintain the quality of life in the region.
IederMooi is a foundation that helps people regain their self-confidence and thus gives them confirmation that they belong in society. The HerstelTalent Foundation offers recovery assistance to people who have lost control of life due to certain circumstances.
Maxima looks wonderful! Rich deep blue is lovely on her. A bit of drama with the cape is fine. And a simple pull-back of her hair into a simple bun is flattering and keeps focus on her attractive face.

DeleteNothing wrong with her boots. On cobblestone they work better than the miles high stiletto heels she usually wears. I am not a fan of capes and personally think a well fitting coat always looks better. At least if it is worn as a coat with the arms in the sleeves and not as a 'cape' :-)) As for her hair: at least she has done something to it. But I think she does need a better hairdresser. These blond highlights are poorly made.

DeleteGoes and Middelburg two lovely little towns in Zeeland. Not far from where I live. When I was younger we went there to spend some free time across the border.
ReplyDeleteQueen Max must have heard the comments about her hair and did it in a quick bun. I like her reversible cape. Today she wears it with the grey color inside. I also like her blue boots as well as the dress. Looking at the colors she chooses to dress, she must be in her blue period lately. Happy to see that she is not feeling blue, always smiling and friendly with the habitants. They may even touch her.
She got it right here. So pretty. Love the color and the accessories. So pretty.

DeleteI think Maxima and Mette-Marit must be the two most sociable and warm royal ladies out there. Love their interaction with people. They see them, and make them feel seen. Love it. Max looks great by the way ;)
