  1. Toujours d'un abord sympathique, elle sait s'investir dans un domaine pour lequel ses qualités sont mises en valeur ; vêtue sobrement, j'aime beaucoup le style de sa coiffure courte dont certaines devraient s'inspirer !

  2. I just love Princess Laurentien, she’s so zany.
She always uses her Christmas tree decorations for earrings.
Princess Beatrix’s sons certainly brought home three superb wives to be part of the Dutch Royal family.

Zany, that's a word I had to google! You are right about the Christmas tree decorations :-) in this case, I think the earrings are a mismatch with the dress. The dress itself is not that great but it becomes great when the poncho is added. Fantastic look outside, very demure for her. Personally, I like her a lot. Fashionwise she's certainly not boring, usually very colourful and she always has interesting earrings. She also does so much to get people into reading. Love her! Damsel Dragonfly

    2. Away from fashion for a quick minute to confirm that in 2010 Princess Laurentien received the Major Bosshardt Prize for her work in combating illiteracy.
She has also been designated as UNESCO Special Envoy on "Literacy for Development"
Again, another royal lady who is not just a pretty face.

More sober than she usually dresses, and far far better!
Subtle use of grey and camel: always a nice color combination.

I like princess Laurentien's jacket. I also like the color. It looks like she injured her left hand. She is wearing a special bandage to support her hand. The dress and the shoes are not very warm for this time of the year, but she is probably one of those lucky ladies who never feel the cold.

Love the combo of the small print dress and large patterned coat in neutral colors…fabulous!
