@Anon 17:48 Apart from the snarkiness of your comment, just because you are ignorant about these Royals in their part of the world doesn't mean that they're any less popular (to the people who live there) than the royals you think you know.

The only thing I know about these Royals is that they are absolutely rich but I never heard they did something useful with all that money, just spending it.... I just hope that the people who are living in these countries are not hungry and have everything they need to lead a happy life.

@Anon 16:48 My suggestion is that you start following Asian Royalty blogs to educate and inform yourself about them. Then you'd know what they do for the people in their countries, and how much, and for whom.

Maybe you should educate yourself about Brunei. Yes, they are VERY RICH, but learn also how the Sultan manage his country. People like you only see how they spend but don’t bother to look beyond that.

      Ok, Anonymous @16:58.
Just a few words from me, 'cause I' m in a hurry while you seem to spend all of your days writing pointless comments.
Now, you seem to be obsessed with a good deal of things, notably poverty and rich people exploiting the destituted.
You seem to be talking about yourself sometimes or should I say that I'm totally sure that you are talking about yourself?
Why don't t you just tour places, see things with your own two eyes in different corners of the world instead of talking down royals you clearly do not know anything of?
Your lack of schooling and experience is no excuse for writing platitudes.
      Please, educate yourself.
      Thank you.

Could you suggest any Asian Royalty blog so that I can "educate"
      myself ?

I have lived in Brunei in 2004 and stayed on for about 5 years as a teacher. For me it was very evident that the Sultan was always loved and respected by his people. His Royal Majesty Sultan Bolkiah always looked after his people and their needs - providing subsidies to the people's basic necessities and health care. Education was
even free and food and homes were affordable for everyone. Everything was tax free! I was even told that when some locals had some serious health issues, the government even sends them to neighbouring countries like Singapore or Australia to be treated. Life in Brunei might seem simple but their government is very strong and their Sultan is always present and there for his people. Visit Brunei Darussalam when you have the opportunity 🙏

@anon 06:45 If you were able to find and participate on this blog then you're able enough to know how to search for the blogs yourself. That's your responsibility.

@anon 13:44 Thank you for your excellent, informative post.

There have been several controversies concerning the royal family of Brunei. You could also google about their shariah law and the rights of the LGBT people in Brunei, for instance. They surely have money and live in luxury, but it's by no means a parliamentary monarchy.

The Jenny Packham dress is pretty, but the purse doesn’t look right with it to me - I think the handle is giving it more of a business-type vibe vs. formalwear-type vibe. I do not care for the bride’s dress with the massive train of fur?feathers?

    1. The gown in the first picture is lovely, though. Is that also the bride, or a guest? I know a lot of royal brides change dresses for the reception, and that's definitely the groom beside her.

Thanks for sharing. I became a fan of the Brunei royal couple after their grand wedding. I heard they have a good heart too by the way they treat their staff and workforce. May they continue being that way.
