On December 10, 2023, Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended the traditional "Save the Children Peace Prize" Party held at Nobel Peace Centre shortly before Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. The party was planned and organized by children.
The show was made by and for children, in honor of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi. Children from 5th, 6th or 7th grade were invited to be in the audience.
The event was a part of Oslo Peace Days, which is a week in December that celebrates peace and human rights as a result of a collaboration between the City of Oslo, The Nobel Peace Center, The Norwegian Nobel Institute, PRIO and the University of Oslo.
