On Sunday 24 December, Queen Margrethe attended the Christmas Eve church service at Aarhus Cathedral together with her family. Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent, Princess Josephine, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, Count Henrik and Countess Athena were present.
After this service, on December 25, the whole family will celebrate Christmas at Marselisborg Castle, where Danish Queen Margrethe has been staying since December 20.

حذفI don't know how the churches are build in Scandinavia (maybe they use a lot of wood), but in Western Europe sometimes during the Winter when it is an old big church, it can be very cold in the building. Even with central heating it takes long before the temperature is a bit warmer. There are also a lot of churches where the parish bought sisal carpets to cover the old stone floors, to prevent to have cold feet during mass or ceremony. Now with the climate crisis the price of the heating is not cheap, everybody is advised to slow down the temperature compared to the previous years. For the moment it is still stormy weather in Northern and Western Europe. It is not that cold in Western Europe but it rains day and night. The humidity makes it cold. In Northern and Central Europe it is freezing and snowing too.

حذفI know that churches can be very cold. However, when the Danish royal family comes to a Christmas service or any service, the church is heated. They get special treatment because they should not freeze. They are royals and should be treated extra well.

ردحذفYou can see blowing hair, too. I think it must also be wind making Queen Margrethe's skirt look so tight. I thought at first she was wearing breeches! I suspect it was just a normal skirt blown tightly against her body, though.

C'est un plaisir de voir les familles réunies pour cette période de Noël ; Marie a su combiner le vert/bleu-marine jusque dans les gants ; ses boucles d'oreilles montrent une touche de vert mais j'aimerais bien les voir de plus près ? Trop mignons les jumeaux qui grandissent bien vite ; le prince Vincent devient un charmant garçon qui sait se vêtir avec goût !

ردحذفI think that we have seen this dress before because there were comments that the high split at the front was inappropriate for a crown princess.

ردحذفI like the coats of the royal ladies (except Queen Margrethe's). The winner is Princess Marie on both occasions, followed by Princess Ingrid Alexandra.
