In these photos you can really see what a difference clothes can make. The dress fits perfectly and although personally I would never choose a colour like that it looks really nice. The trousers one the other hand add kilos and don't seem to compliment her figure that well. Her smile is wonderful and she seems to be a very nice, down-to-earth and engaging young woman. I.P.

    1. Photos are sometimes misleading, on pic 3 black rather show a slimming effect , on others we get an opposite impression. The fit of her trousers seems ok.

What dress? As far as I can see she is wearing pants in both outfits.

    3. Max Mara is actually an Italian brand. It is run by the Maramotti family, who established the fashion house in 1951 in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Love the Max Mara suit, really nice shape for her. Nice to see her looking so happy. JJ

  5. La combinaison du haut et du pantalon convient mieux à Stéphanie au contraire du gilet décontracté sans manches !

The fuchsia top is nice enough but it would have probably suited her better with a long necklace …?!

Perhaps if she could style the vest by EM + ME with a blouse like on the model, it would be much better. I like her very much with the dark yellow suit by Max Mara Studio. It makes her silhouette looks longer and goes well together with the color of her hair. With her friendly face she is a sunshine on a gray day in December.

I think Stephanie has surely 'upped' her fashion-game..wow..
The ME-EM vest is nice but better with the blouse and trousers of the model.
A bit more high street finishing, a bit more London and less Luxembourg please )):

Why London ? Max Mara is a German brand of very good quality and the clothes are worn by several royal ladies in Europe.
Do you think that in the capital of Luxemburg there are no beautiful boutiques where you can find international brands ? Luxemburg is an international city where people from all over Europe are working and living. Probably not as big as London but a very lovely and attractive city.

I think London is more vibrant and swinging ( I've been in both city's) and Luxembourg more homely and rustic. That's just the way it is, no offense however, both have their specifics.
Maybe royalty doesn't want to wear clothes that rocks it.

That yellow suit looks wonderful. I'm not a fan of the black and purple look, it hails back to that frumpy era where everything made her look much heavier and dowdy. But her hair looks lovely and she looks radiant.

    1. Agree with your comments on the purple top--frumpy was exactly the word that came to mind. While I like the colour, the trouser suit is not particularly flattering either. Stephanie herself looks happy and enthusiastic as always.

Why are so many bloggers here so hard on Princess Stephanie? She is probably nursing her new baby. Two children in a row at this age can be quite difficult weight-wise, I know this from other women. I remember that she was very stylish in the first years if her marriage (also on Getty images) but it is probably quite difficult to dress satisfactorily at this stage of her life as a young mother. She looks so happy after all her struggles, wonderful.

The princess has spent the last few years prioritizing the birthing of healthy, beautiful babies. She has succeeded brilliantly. I think maybe the problem is that the HGD occasionally turns up not looking completely put together, which is understandable post partum to some extent. But her youngest is almost nine months old now.
Stephanie has a lot of potential, it would be so easy to step it up a notch. Sometimes I think she simply doesn't care, which is a shame imo.

  12. The yellow ensemble is the best of the two outfits Imo. She is a very naturally pretty woman. It seems to me she never looks top notch perfectly groomed and attired.

  14. She looks happy and lovely in all photos. Very notable that she is the rare royal who doesn’t put herself in the middle focal point of a group photo.

    The other one not so.
