Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit invited children supported by the Church City Mission, at their home, Skaugum Estate, in Asker. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess took part in a Christmas workshop with children. Crown Princess Mette-Marit is a member of the Board of the Church City Mission. The Church City Mission is one of the largest humanitarian faith-based organisations in Norway.

DeleteThe reason there are no photos of the kids is because this is kids in a difficult life situation, some in protective care. Anne
DeleteThis is a lovely, warm couple who have done well by each other and their country. There were quite a few doubters when they married. MM has managed her medical condition as well as possible and their children seem intelligent and well adjusted. MM does shine at more casual events in more easygoing clothes.

ReplyDeleteShe is at home. Maybe she prefers to dress easy when she must not go out and must not see other people. She is so beautiful in the 2nd picture. I hope she is doing well health wise. It must not be easy for Prince Haakon with the health problems of his wife. And for the children it must be hard too.
