On Friday evening, November 10, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited the Great Synagogue of Stockholm to participate in the Shabbat (sabbath) Service. Due to the reported increase in anti-semitism around Sweden and the increased threat to Jewish activities, the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel chose to privately visit the Great Synagogue in Stockholm.

ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty jacket, so much better than her more masculine type "big" jackets. The visit is for a very good cause, I am happy to see them show where they stand. As it is also a somber occasion, she does not accessorize or use vivid colours to go with it. (GM)

Concentrating on fashion and leaving the purpose of their visit à part, I like the somewhat “his&hers” outfits of the princess and prince.
ReplyDeleteVictoria's jacket has just enough buttons to stop it from taking on a military look.
But WOW. Prince Daniel has obviously sent his “on duty uniform” to the cleaners.
So nice to see him out of his double breasted suit and in a single breasted one.
Now all we need is to see him in more of his sporting gear.
I’d love to see him in his jogging pants and wearing a T-shirt with his phone number on it.
So who says that the royals don’t read and take notice of what our expert group of fashion advisers say. Well done team.

DeleteI think he looks so boxy in those double breasted suits but Its a baby step from double breasted to single. Sporty gear, or your t-shirt idea, love, are probably a large step to far for him. Lol
I have always liked the brand Massimo Dutti. I have several pieces by this brand in my closet. Since covid there are many of their shops that have been closed. There is only one little shop left nearby my town in a shopping centre, but the amount of clothes that they are selling (men and women) is very reduced. It is pity. Lucky we still have all the shops of Zara that are still open. They sell similar cropped jackets.
ReplyDeleteI like the jacket CP Victoria is wearing. These "chanel style" jackets are very trendy this season. When it is cold one can wear it under a wide coat instead of a sweater combined with jeans or classic trousers .
