  1. A lovely dress for Victoria; not too formal and not too splashy, yet dressy enough for black-tie and very in tune with the festive season.

    1. I agree with you completely Anon9
: 13 and have to add that Daniel is looking dapper as always.

    2. I agree too.
Prince Daniel's suit fits him perfectly. His bow tie seems to be a bit too large.

  2. Lovely dress on Crown Princess Victoria. I initially thought the darker, circle shape seen on her right shoulder in the pictures was an adhesive bandage, but then realized it is a decorative, dangling part of the dress. I would prefer the dress without those; however, it looks good on her. I like the length she is wearing as opposed to that shown on the model.

  5. I love this dress on Victoria!!! She looks awesome here--and love that she added a modern-looking version of pearl earrings. The only change I would make--snip off those dangly discs at the arm holes.

  6. Beautiful dress with the light colored beading and sparkle. The earrings and shoes go with the dress too, although I’m not sure about the length. Is it perfect or just a little too long? Can’t decide. Daniel’s midnight blue tux is a very successful fashion statement in my opinion. He’s very handsome!

  7. Alors là, beaucoup d'allure dans cette robe qui aurait mérité d’être plus courte de quelques centimètres ; bon choix que ses boucles d’oreilles !

  8. Dress is not bad att all ( if you think it’s made by HM😉)

    1. Strange is that you never see these dresses if you go to a store of H & M. I think they have some similar dresses like the mini dress on the model, but that they make a special dress on demand of CP Victoria or another princess or queen.

  9. Wow! Victoria looks gorgeous. But the best of course is her smile! A future queen!

Beautiful dress that suits CP Victoria very well. Daniel´s midnight blue tuxedo is very dashing

  11. Again a bespoken HM dress. I don't like the look of the dress because of the lack of sleeves. The fabric also look quite heavy considering the tickness we see on the shoulders, so I'm not a fan.

The thickness on the shoulders we can see does not mean the fabric is thick too. It is a kind of thin shoulder pad that is attached in a dress without sleeves. The fabric is sewed around the shoulder pad to hide it. It was fashion during last Summer and the Summer of 2022.

The gown itself Is pretty but from a poor quality brand
Other than that, Victoria looks beautiful.

  14. Clear No from me, first for the high closed neckline, never looking good on her. Just an inch or two (or more for an evening gown) can make such a difference. Second, the fabric looks stiff and rigid, the result is missing body contours - and she has a beautiful feminine figure -, it is almost a long straight line from neck to toes. The "dangly discs" at the arms are incomprehensible and without any added decorative value. (GM)

  15. CP Victoria is lovely in a gown that is neither too fussy, nor too over the top, just chic, pretty, light, and suited for the occasion. Love her personality and smile, she lights up the room when she enters. Edwina

  16. The star here is Daniel ! My god what an elegance ! Victoria's dress gets for me the mark 'just ok'; I cannot really explain why. The shoulder cut is not flattering.

  17. So, there was no one from the British Royal House. Very disrespectful. I understand that they are having a small crisis now but it's not Victoria and Daniel's fault.
I like Victoria's dress but those little things on the shoulders are not necessary, they make it look cheaper. Daniel looks dapper, but he doesn't look feeling comfortable in some pictures. But of course they are only a couple of seconds moments. (Elina)

    1. This is an official BUSINESS visit to the UK - nothing to do with the British Royal Family. Therefore the BRF do not have to show up, unless they were invited to a specific event during the visit (like a talk or a dinner), and even then they can graciously decline if they have other commitments. Official business visits are attended by foreign royals to show support to their nationals who are working in other countries. They are lower ranking visits. It works like this in all countries with monarchies. (Privately however, they can all do what they want, so if they are friends, they could meet up behind closed doors.)

  18. The dress is excellent for the occasion.
They make a very handsome couple and do great work for their country.
I read somewhere where Kate and William attended the dinner ????
The British royals seem to be missing without leave at the moment.
Maybe there is a mistake with the title of the Swedish Royals’s visit.
Perhaps it’s not an “official visit” but a “working visit”.

  19. Nice concept, but I would like to add some (short) sleeves because it´s winter now; I would prefer a lower neckline - not low, just a bit less tight; I would like a colour accent somewhere. The design idea is nice, I like the texture, the colour, don´t mind the dangly bits. I must say though that I prefer the shorter version of the dress as seen on the model (even without any sleeves).

  20. I feel that the dress is a little too baggy on Victoria and if it was a bit shorter and trimmer fitting, all complaints would disappear. Mrs C
