  1. I love Mary´s outfit but wish she had chosen solid black shoes. The white tips are distracting.
Margrethe looks good in blue but her suit is average in terms of fit.
Benedikte looks classy as always but I don´t like her bow blouse. Her coat is interesting.

CP Mary looks super elegant. Love the dress and hat. The Queen looks very good. I don't like P Benedicte´s coat. I find the piping too dark/harsh at least with the white blouse.

Now, with all due respect for everybody participating in the opening of the Danish Parliament and for the grandeur of the event, Mary's pumps taken apart are themselves worth my frenzy.
Exactly my cup of tea (12 cm)!
    Eager to know the brand.
    Mary is incredibly stunning👏👏👏👏👍

  9. And the winner is ?????
After only two seconds of debate, the jury announced the outright winner in the “senior” category as Princess Benedikte.
An honorable mention went to Queen Margrethe.
In the” junior” category, the jury decided it was a waste of time putting a competitor up against Princess Mary.

Mary is super elegant, but the hat is imv a bit too much for this event. Would have been wonderful on a wedding but here it's a bit unpractical. Disappointed this time in Benedikte, esp. the hat. Margaretha a very elegant day ensemble in a wonderful colour

The Queen is so well dressed here: haute couture at its very best!
The colour, the cut, the hat: just perfect.
Both princess Mary and princess Benedikte : very elegant.

All of the ladies look lovely and I’m a major fan of the purple hat! Mary’s outfit is perfection. This is how you wear two-toned shoes in a modern, sophisticated way.

Mary is absolutely stunning! I love her shoes--think they might be new. Princess B looks elegant as always but I'm not sold on her hat. QM is really lovely in her blue suit--the style is perfect for trim frame with the shorter jacket paired with a slim skirt. For once I have to say QM edged out her sister in the fashion sweepstakes. I have to make one last point--the 8th photo where Mary and QM are pictured together--the sweet gesture of HM cupping Mary's face with her hand...how sweet and loving. What a beautiful expression of their relationship!

Queen Margrethe seems to be affectionately touching Princess Mary’s cheek.
I wonder if the Queen sees Princess Mary as the daughter she never had.
And for Mary, I wonder if The Queen is a substitute mother for her.
Princess Mary lost her mother in 1997. Her mother never got to see her daughter become a princess.

      Totally agreed.
      Your comment is very nice.
I just love Mary's ensemble plus her hat .
It works well with the low long pony tail.

CP Mary is just so elegant. Her way of accessorizing is what makes her stand out. And those to die for shoes… me myself being 50+ and beginning to have some feet problems, I am amazed, how does she do it ?

Love Mary's dress would have preferd it without the frillls. Don't have a problem with her shoe as Venessa. Not to keen on M & B outfits though, but must say I'm kind a dumbfounded also the NRF was at the opening at their parlament and not a word. Why?
