On October 3, 2023, Queen Silvia inaugurated the new Ersta hospital at Södermalm, Stockholm. In 2019, the Queen broke the ground for the new Ersta hospital building. Ersta Hospital is a publicly funded private hospital. Ersta Diakoni is a non-profit organisation founded in the 1850s, and is currently one of Sweden’s leading providers within idea-based care and social work, on a non-profit basis.

    La reine Silvia est toujours aussi élégante même si j'aurais bien vu une partie de son ensemble dans une couleur plus vive pour contraster également avec ses chaussures qui ont l'air confortables pour participer à différents évènements !

      I looked at that statement too and thought, "a 'public funded private hospital..!?' Never heard of that before". And I do hear life (housing especially) in Sweden is quite expensive and taxes quite high.

    Auf dem ersten Blick ein schlichtes Kostüm, aber dann: wunderbarer Stoff mit feiner Boucle-Struktur und perfekter Schnitt; sehr elegant und gleichzeitig zurückhaltend.

    Smart outfit but too little contrast and on the dull side. Queen Silvia always looks great but I prefer her in jewel bright colours
