On October 4, 2023, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde opened the cultural festival “Europalia 2023" at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels. This autumn, Europalia art festival is dedicated to Georgia. The starting point for this edition is the country’s fascinating culture and the art scene of its bustling capital, Tbilisi, and then the festival will continue with that of lesser-known cities and regions.
Every two years, Europalia organizes a diverse artistic programme focusing on a country or a theme. Europalia aims to promote intercultural and intergenerational exchanges as well as research, reflection and creation.
Gorgeous fabric and love the neckline/cut on the dress. The accessories are perfect with the dress and for the season. Her hair looks great too…I think she would look great with a similarly styled haircut.
ReplyDeleteNice dress, beautiful accessories. I like the colour, the print and the length of the dress, not necessarily the shiny material. But something´s off with the fit around the bust, shoulders and neckline. Or maybe it´s just a weird way to make a neckline. I think this dress would have looked much better with a round or square neck.

DeleteNice departure from the usual helmet hair. This style of dress suits her body type (pear-shaped), but the fabric is akin to upholstery fabric, IMO. The pumps and clutch are nice. Amy
ReplyDeleteUne robe au très bel imprimé mais le tissu me semble un peu lourd ; avec plus de fluidité, Mathilde serait parfaite surtout après l'avoir harmonisée avec la pochette et ses chaussures de couleur rose vif !
ReplyDeleteQMathilde looks lovely. Her dress is obviously a Natan design (and I’m not a fan of that brand) but it works for her. I just wish the fabric had a matte finish rather than being so shiny.

Queen Mathilde wore this dress on a state visit to South Korea in 2019. I think she is still elegant and beautiful in this dress. Good to see she repeats her dresses regularly. The accessories are well chosen, even the earrings are the same she wore in 2019.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of pictures of all kind of events lately from which we do not see anything here. It started with her visit to New York for the UN. From the last day we did not see the different outfits she wore. This week f.ex. Queen Mathilde had almost every day 2 visits alone or with King Philippe. We did not see all the pictures. The royal palace does not announce longtime in advance the events any more either. Maybe it is better that way. The same group of people on this blog always find something to criticize on. If it is not her hair; it are her clothes or her lipstick; or her waist. Lucky Queen Mathilde is a very intelligent person, wo is too busy with her work. She has no time to read all the gossip that is written. Personally I think that a lot of people are jealous of the Belgians and their lovely, friendly and hard working queen.
