  1. What a fantastic outfit that suits QM extremely well. I previously thought the palette skirt was particularly beautiful (when combined with a white blouse), but with the top in the same palette style it is absolutely striking. The matching earrings and shoes complete the perfect picture.

  4. Maxima comes up with the most interesting, dazzling and outrageous outfits. You can tell she really has fun with fashion. I think her personality matches her sense of style. She must be a riot in person. This dress is really amazing and very unique.

  5. Over dressed! i wonder if she is aware of the society she is visiting. what she wears in one day is equivalent to a year's salary for most of the population.

    1. I don't really think you understand our country South Africa. They really appreciate bling-bling. Iven the poor people will visit town and do shopping in an evening dress if they have one. If she came with less than this they would really not understand that she can be a queen.

    6. Anon. 19/10 20:42 Maybe she is more aware than yourself since she has been in many poor societies in Africa and Asia for her work at the UN. Here she is as a queen together with her husband the king. On Monday she will be in Kenia to represent her work at the UN. She probably will be dressed more casual. She received in the past bad comments that she was not dressed like a queen should be dressed. People do not understand the difference when she is there as a queen or as a woman that is working for the UN and trying to find solutions for people who are poor and who are living in circumstances (especially women) that cannot be tolerated anymore in a modern world. 1. Dear @ Anon 20:45 : Verb ??
I understand how you’ve used the word “riot”.
It is a good word to sum up one’s personality and behaviour.
A person full of smiles and laughter, loves joking and doing the outrageous whenever possible but knows how to not overstep the mark.
      In other words “Maxima”

  8. I like the dress, the hair (with extensions), the jewels. I am on the fence about the shoes, not a bit too much shining ?

I love it, and it's the perfectly toned look for an evening function as part of their state visit to S. Africa. Not too little and not too much. Lovely. On to Cape Town now.
