On October 5, 2023, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the WWF's annual meeting held at Erstaterrassen in Stockholm. The meeting concluded with a prize-giving ceremony, at which the Environmental Hero of the Year award, the Marie-Claire Cronstedt award and the Panda Book of the Year award were presented by the Crown Princess.
The Crown Princess presented the 2023 Environmental Hero prize to the influencer Therese Lindgren. The 2023 Marie-Claire Cronstedt Award was presented to the researcher Elin Röös. The Panda Book of the Year 2024 was awarded to the photographer Claes Grundsten.

This suit fits better than some of the others we’ve seen on Victoria, but it’s a whole lot of blergh. I’d like to add a colored blouse or accessories to liven up this suit, which is a nice neutral base.
ReplyDeleteOh no, not that dreadful plastic hair clip again, a simple low ponytail would be far better. I saw a picture of her in another site wearing the clip to an official dinner for ambassadors, imo, it is a lack of respect, her mother would never wear a hair clip in public. As far as fashion goes, the blazer is very boxy and the colour does nothing for her.

DeleteOh, I don't understand this offended attitude about the hair clip. It was not a gala occasion or ... I don't know whether there are also luxury hair clips, but my opinion is that a clip gives her a much softer look, particularly the profile, than the bun !! To me, that is a sufficient quality to say yes to the clip.
DeleteThe suit is a bit bulky, however it fits nicely. And, compared with the model, Victoria wears it better. By the way the model has the same blouse, or quite similarly. So it was the choice of a stylist and cannot be a really bad choice. Well done, Victoria.

I’m open to ideas of what accessories I should wear to match my camouflage gear.
A bold necklace with emerald stones would go well with camouflage gear, I think.

As MarytT said there are luxury hair clips.
They can be made from all types of material, e.g. metal; clays and synthetic combinations.
I recently read an advertisement for budjet priced, elegant looking hair clips stating that they’d been made from recycled plastic.
Nice outfit but a little bland . A pop of color would have made this pantsuit better. css
ReplyDeleteAn unbuttoned shirt, the collar crumpled by and under the jacket, could look nice on a model where the publisher can choose the best photo among dozens of shots. But it is an unwise choice for somebody whose photos go around the world without anybody taking care of crumped collars. Why not a simple round neckline? Never understood this. (GM)
ReplyDeleteYes to the suit but no to the blouse. What could have been a great look faded into blergh with this shiny goldbiege blouse. The suit needs either a crisp white blouse or a bold, solid color--black, navy, etc. As always, Victoria has a big, warm smile to welcome everyone she interacts with.

I agree, this boxy stylle, the baggy trousers and the dull colour are not flattering. I understand that her hair is difficult to tame so that there is no point in constantly offering useless advice. However, what I like about her is her natural dignity, in this respect she never disappoints.

ReplyDeleteDouble breasted, oversized, dull color, big shoulders, tight hairstyle...meh. The blazer's material looks wrinkled in the front and the fit is off. I've started to hate those illfitting and oversized polyester blazers. She has too many of these. I prefer high-quality wool material that is breathable, resilient, designs that fits you perfectly and look flattering.
