On September 11, 2023, Queen Letizia of Spain attended the opening ceremony for 2023/2024 school year that took place at the CEIP Camino Ingles School in the town of Sigueiro-Oroso in A Coruna.
The CEIP Camino Ingles is an early childhood and primary education school, and has received the “Innovagal” award, an award for educational innovation presented to centers that implement innovative approaches in the educational field.

I love this look on Letizia - the fit of her clothes is perfect (as it usually is) but I think it's her hair style that really sets it off. Very nice.

The Queen looks nice and I like her styling with the high waist pants and sling backs. The neckline seems like a mash up of a crew neck and a mock turtleneck and not sure it’s very flattering. She wears it better than the model but it still looks almost too tight in the photos.

ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so very informal that I find it inappropriately casual…can the country’s queen not dress up a little bit for the kids on their first day of school? Yes, Letizia looks good; she always looks good. That doesn’t mean she looks appropriate. The trend toward dressing down has gone about as far as it can…I look forward to the pendulum swinging back again some day (if that is any longer even a possibility). — Jane
ReplyDeleteCasual? Are you kidding me? In Toronto, Canada most people would consider this dressed up. You should see how people dress here. Women wear yoga pants everywhere even to work and no one bats an eye like it is normal. I've seen people walking their dogs in nightgowns or out and about in their pyjamas. Most people here are overweight and could careless what they wear. I "dress up" like Letizia is here and get stared at like I am wearing haute couture. And why does Letizia need to dress up for visiting school children? I think she looks fine and appropriate for the occasion,

Hi deadeggs. Anything goes here unless you are attending a job interview or a court of law. The people who dress well stick out and stand out like a sore thumb. If you want to blend in then you dress like a farmer. Yes, please come. You are always welcome.

DeleteI forgot to mention the cost of Letizia's sweater is 150 Euros and the pants are about 168 Euros which is 320 Euros. That is probabley more than the average Canadian spends on clothes in a year. So it would not qualify as a "casual outfit" in our beloved country. That is high end.
