Crown Princess Leonor of Spain advances in her military training in Zaragoza. This week’s event at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza took place on September 19, with a ceremony of handing over sabers, symbolizing obtaining the title of lady cadet.
At the event, a second-year student presents a saber to a first-year student as a sign of camaraderie and guardianship. The presentation of sabers, which is part of the Military Instruction and Training program, is the prelude to the Flag Oath which will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023.
Nothing about fashion here, though Belgian Royals and Spain Royals are doing quite well.

ReplyDeleteThe red beret is exceptionally flattering to the Princess, in terms of color, shape, and placement (and yes, I do realize the placement is according to military requirements and not fashion 😄).
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that the Princess’s shirt seems to have been altered to have the placket close like a woman’s shirt, but has otherwise not, apparently, been changed to accommodate a woman’s figure.
indeed the shirt could have been better, specially if they knew her pictures will be all in the media, but oh well. She is a lovely young lady and in this case fashion is not the order of the day.

Love to see the young royals undertaking military training and it’s so refreshing that it’ girls as well as boys now. How pretty CP Leonor is with her curtain of hair pinned up. And the red beret is most becoming.
