President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska were received by King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia at Stenhammar Castle on Saturday 19 August. President of Ukraine and First Lady are visiting Sweden at the invitation of Prime Minister. During the meeting, the King received information about the situation in the country directly from the President of Ukraine. The King expressed his support for the people of Ukraine.
I think the blue jacket of Mrs Zelenska is fabulous. Great tailoring and the one sided long lapel really makes it stand out from among zillions of other single breasted suits. Queen Silvia is her usual classical self

Another lovely fitted two-piece, I think they are my favourites in Silvia's garderobe, and a collarless jacket can be flattering with the neck getting shorter as the years are accumulating. The colour is not really exciting, but appropriate for meeting the President and First Lady of a war torn and suffering country. Mrs Zelensky is pretty in an understated but unmistakable way.

ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia wears again one of her ensembles, an off-white this time. She looks even younger like that. The high lights in her hair go well together with this outfit.

I think it's a very strategic move by him to wear army clothes. Everybody gets reminded that this is a country and a man figthing a war...

DeleteThe sunflowers are a beautiful tribute to the Ukrainian couple. The Queen of Sweden looks perfect as always and is a European role model for fashion and style. It's nice that the First Lady has also opted for a classic ensemble. Perfection everywhere. (Magda)
