Queen Rania of Jordan visited Firyal Kofahi’s home-based kitchen in Irbid’s Hawar village as part of her efforts to support economic empowerment opportunities for women. Kofahi’s kitchen currently employs 10 women, some of whom are Syrian refugees trained in the making of traditional Jordanian dishes by Kofahi herself.

The ladies in traditional dresses look really superb as does QR. Her white dress is gorgeous. I would certainly want to wear in summer myself.

Wow, what an appropriate dress for this event, but still stylish.

I like Queen Rania's dress but not the dresses of the other ladies, they are shapeless. Rose

    1. No matter whether you meant the dresses or the ladies themselves - to deem either shapeless is beyond rude. They are dressed in traditional garb. And it's not a fashion contest.

@DSC. It is not a fashion contest but it is a fashion blog. I just talked about the other dresses than Queen Rania's, you are the one that talked about the other ladies. I like QR's dress but not the traditional dresses of the other ladies. Rose

Queen Rania never dresses in the traditional style of the tribe she is visiting. Her dresses are cut like in the Western world but finished (belt, embroidery, -pattern,...) like in the Middle-East. I've never seen her head covered, unless on very special occasions and probably before entering a mosk.
