On Aug 1, 2023, Japanese Princess Kako visited Koshien Stadium to watch the Girls High School Baseball tournament in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture. The tournament, organized by the Japan High School Girls’ Baseball Federation takes place during the summer school vacation period, culminating in a two-week final tournament stage with 49 teams in August at Hanshin Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya.

ردحذفI guess this is an outdoor event in an environment with selected few people, whereas the 27 July event was indoors and with a larger crowd. I also think there's a certain symbolism behind showing respect and solidarity by masking when handing out medals to people who are still working with Covid patients on a daily basis whereas here it's "merely" a sport event.
