Well, there's no accounting for taste ...

Where is Prince Daniel these days? We haven't seen him for a while.

    1. From what I've seen on other royal sites, Prince Daniel seems to be taking on more responsibilities and doing solo visits, openings etc.
We don’t see any of these visits on this site as NewMyRoyals is mainly for women’s fashion.

    2. Anne, No official info on the subject, as far as I know. He was participating in an entrepreneur's conference recently. If you want a gossip info : the relationship between the King and Pr Daniel is not so good right now.

    3. Dear MaryT: Hope that's just a rumour put about by the press to up their sales on publications.

  2. I liked the jacket till I saw it was part of a trouser suit! The jacket with a pair of plain coloured trousers, light or dark, would look great, the trousers might, at a push, look okay with a plain jacket but together, just no! Nice photos though.

CP Victoria continues to be the worst dressed of all royal ladies. Another ugly suit. And that hair bun. Sigh.

@Sigh. Although I don't like the checkered pant suit, she is not the worst dressed of all royal ladies. There are worse than her. About her hair: well yes we know since a long time she has little curls that are very difficult to style. If I was her I'd try a shorter hairstyle.
She has the two checkered pant suits (the light pink and the orange) by Malina at least for 2 years. One cannot say she is not wearing her clothes very long. She also seems to be a very confident and concerned CP and she looks happy with her work and that is what counts. Rose

    4. I DISagree with anon 20:13 ! She likes some basic style, sometimes some romantic style for dresses, and sometimes some WOW outfits, remember that. I rather like this audacious suit, provided she doesn't wear it too often.

Nice to see them out again. Victorias suit to much plaid for me, maybe a solid color pant or skirt would have made it look better. The always look good. css

And does she have this in two different colors?! It is not that great of a suit.

  7. I don't like checkered fabric, such as this, but the CP looks well groomed and stylish

    1. Perhaps a “business look” suit would have been more appropriate for the visit.

  8. Crown Princess Victoria can wear bold colors so well. It's a joy to see! I'm not always a huge fan of the matchy two piece suit but this one has great flair.
Something's a bit off with bottom buttoning but not enough to put me off the suit. The pants really do it for me, remind of a couple of my favorite pants/pantsuit from the mid 1970's. Retro done with zing!

    1. I agree. Only thing I'd change to really make to retro is get rid of that bun! A half up, half down style would be fab!

This suit should not be worn together. She would get away with it separately, but together it just is tacky and ugly. Exscuse my french. If she had black trousers or even jeans. Then you would be talking about a statement. This no, no , no.

I respect the effort with a bright suit, but the jacket shape and undershirt are the issue. I think the whole look would be much better if jacket was shorter, cut with a curve at the hem (instead of straight across) and had a single button (not double breasted). Plus a swap out of the plain white t-shirt underneath with a dark shirt in a more open neck would elevate the look as well.

I think you have pointed it out nicely, single button, shorter and curved would make the world of difference

I love this suit on CPV ! Great summer to autumn color.

  12. Dans ce costume à carreaux, ce serait la veste que je choisirais afin de la combiner avec un pantalon ou même une jupe de couleur unie grise ou même blanche !

  13. I agree that the complete suit is a bit too moch, I would prefer it combined with a plain top or trousers respectively.
