On 18 August 2023, Danish Crown Princess Mary attended the inauguration of the Skudestien hiking trail in Tornby Klitplantage (dune plantation) in North Jutland. The Skudestien is the fourth and last trail in the large trail system of a total of 35 km., which Tornby Beboerforening (Tornby Residents' Association) has established in collaboration with the Nature Agency in and around Tornby.
After the official inauguration, the Crown Princess set out together with several hundred residents of the area on part of the 14 kilometer long route. The hiking route combines nature experiences with the region's cultural history.
Casual clothes suit Mary well. Natural and relaxed, fair play for getting involved in the hiking 👍
