Members of the Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg is currently in La Tour Sarrasine of Nice for their 2023 summer holiday. Grand Duchess Maria Teresa shared a series of new photos. The photos show members of the Family together, that is, Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie, Prince Charles, Prince Francois, Princess Alexandra and Nicolas Bagory.
Oh my goodness just how adorable is Prince Francois? Such a happy baby just like his big brother!

DeleteWhat a wonderful family. The smile on the grandduchess MT is never brighter than when she is with her grandchildren. The granddukes green shirt is very becoming on him. The ladies dresses are very appropriate for vacation. Alexandra always has hair falling, which I personally want to tuck and pin back..lol.

ReplyDeleteLittle Francois is a carbon copy of his brother at this age. His smile is just adorable! The children do look pretty in general, as do the men. Maria Teresa looks smashing and I love how she still put some effort into her outfit despite it being very relaxed overall. Hence a bit disappointed by Stephanie (what are those shoes?!), but oh well... I guess with two little kids at home, she's excused :)

Stephanie's shoes look like Birkenstocks. I can't speak for the rest of the world, but they made a huge resurgence several years ago in the US. She is on trend.

There are different shapes in Birkenstock and they are made of pure leather. In my country they are worn by people who must stay long on their feet, like hairdressers, medical staff, etc... It has never been considered as a fashion item. I can imagine it is worn in warm countries by people whose feet are swollen because of the heat. In the meantime there are a lot of other comfort brands who make fashionable sandals for people who cannot wear sandals with high heels. Rose
These are genuine Birkenstock “Arizona” sandals, made of EVA. I had to look that up - it’s ethylene-vinyl acetate. In other words, artificial rubbery stuff. Birkenstocks, regardless of what they’re made of, are not my cup of tea, but they seem a very appropriate choice to wear on the beach.

ReplyDeleteThe little ones really steal the show every time they appear in photos, gorgeous precious children! Unlike some of the other comments above, in my perception little Francois does not resemble his brother Charles at all - except for the fact that he is sweet and smiley like his brother, but the facial features are different. To me, Charles favours more his father's side of the family and I can see resemblance to both paternal grandparents, whereas Francois is the spitting image of his mum Stephanie, especially visible in the first 2 photos and the second last - same identical eyes and eyebrows like his mother, same warm smile, same facial shape.... Time will tell, as they grow older they will change.
ReplyDeleteBack to fashion, I really love MT's dress and fun earrings, perfect for holidays in the sun, she looks really good in this casual relaxed style and she seems in the best shape she has been for years. Stephanie's choice of dress is a bit underwhelming and shapeless - i know it is a holiday outfit and not a gala gown, but still, some sort of shape, even simply a cinched or gathered waist, or a wrap style would do wonders for her overall silhouette. MT shows how you can be comfortable and casual and still look stylish. We see how well Stephanie dresses her boys, every single time we have seen them (mostly Charles, of course) they look impeccably dressed and always right for the occasion. This makes me think that in fact she does have a keen style sense and does put efforts in the appearance of her sons, but for some reason this stops there and is not carried over to her own style and appearance. Oh well, never mind... What really matters is that they enjoy these holiday and have a fun family time together, this is how memories are made.
