King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Leonor (the Princess of Asturias) and Infanta Sofia attended a meeting with winners of previous editions of the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards before the delivery of the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards 2023. The meeting was chaired by King Felipe and Queen Letizia.

ReplyDeleteLeonor goes from one extreme to the other. Matronly for yesterday's event, and far, far too short for today's event. I have a difficult time understanding how her parents thought, "That looks just fine" when walking out the door together. The reasoning (excuse) of being a teenager can only go so far sometimes. With three royal ladies here, I never thought I'd say that the King is the best-dressed in the group, but he is today. He looks fresh, summery and perfectly business casual. Great jacket.

Her parents know what girls that age are wearing and are glad that her dress is longer than a lot of girl's dresses and skirts. Haven't you ever seen girls that can't sit down without showing their undergarments? It happens. I don't think yesterday's dress was not too matronly. Did you notice the side slit? I can't see Sophie Edinburgh wearing it. These young ladies are doing fine. They are teens and are in a grey zone for clothes that work for official events.
