Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine

Queen Margrethe II arrived at Sonderborg Harbour in Graasten with the Royal yacht Dannebrog to spend her summer holiday. The visit takes place in connection with the change to the summer residence at Graasten Castle in Southern Jutland. Queen Margrethe was received by the Mayor of Sonderborg, Erik Lauritzen. Graasten Palace is one of the summer residences of the Danish Royal family, but the park is also open to the public.

Rose

    5. Dear Tulipe33.
      Thank you for the information.
How lucky you are to live in such a beautiful and rich region in France.
If by chance you have a spare bottle or two of Château d'Yquem in your wine cupboard/cellar, I’d be happy to pay for the postage and transport to send them on to me.
Usually, the three sisters, that is, Queen Margrethe, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece and Princess Benedikte (the Queen of Class) have a summer reunion at the Chateau in France.
I hope they can, this year, get together for this traditional family occasion.
Some information on the Château can be found via ……

Lovely outfit in a lovely and very becoming color. Hat and handbag perfection. She usually wears her daisy broach but this seems to be a new one.

FYI Porcelain brooch by Arje Griegst. She has worn it before with this same outfit a few years ago. Thank you for always having such well worded comments.

I haven’t noticed this brooch until now you call out its context. Cheers for that ! I really like her daisy brooch she carried from the time of her wedding dress.

Love the simple style of the outfit and Her Majesty looks marvelous in this shade of pink.

  7. This is a beautiful color on the Queen. She looks great! And I love her brooch. My one nitpick is that her dress seems slightly too big for her. You can see where it gapes on her collarbone under her jacket. But that might be to accommodate some backbrace or other supportive undergarment. Whatever the issue, her bright smile makes up for it. :)

Je trouve la Reine Margrethe très élégante dans cet ensemble monochrome rose pâle, c'est une couleur qui lui sied bien.

The Queen looks great in all light pink for this summer event. Feels like a more quiet color than her standards and I think it works. She’s a wonder to be so active after spine surgery earlier this year…good for her!

Yes, for me too an unexpected colour and a very classic style, I would expect Benedikte wearing something like this - but she looks simply wonderful. (GM)

      Hello, Ava and Deadeggs.
Yes, the people of Her Majesty are really proud of her and the signs of their affection can be easily found everywhere in Denmark.
Just to make an example:streets are characterized by signs featuring a daisy.
The bond of mutual affection Is less visibile in Greenland.
Unfortunately , the recent tensions inside the family due to her choice to strip Prince Joachim's children of their former titles have raised a wave of disappointment in the Danish as well

    Dear Deadeggs
It is not true that the Queen meets with her sisters and other family members
in France. It is in Gråsten in Denmark. The Queen is usually in France in
    August.

    1. Thanks for the information @Anon17:23.
I'd always thought it was at the Château in France.
No matter where it is, I hope they can get together for the occasion.
There is a little difference now, the three sisters are all widowed
