  1. Une nouvelle robe de Beulah qui est tour à fait du goût de certaines dames de la famille royale ; n'en déplaise à certaines, je pense que des chaussures blanches auraient mieux convenu !

Funny, Tulipe33! - I think in this case the white shoes may have become stained green if worn to polo, so just as well! As for me, across all the longish flowery summery frocks we have seen on the range of royal princesses that wear these, this is my favourite of all and the one I’d love to own. - AnneLise

The dress is very pretty but it is beginning to be hard to tell all the long sleeved, high necked, minidresses apart. Gets a bit boring when everyone slavishly follows current fashion trends.

wrong autocorrection - should be midi dresses

    2. Fell asleep last night while typing my comments which really sums up my view on long sleeved high necked midi dresses. It's a lovely colour and the Princess looks good as always but these prissy dresses cannot go out of fashion soon enough for my liking.
I don't like this photo anyway--too reminiscent of the one where the Charles/Diana split became apparent.

I wear a lot long sleeved dresses and blouses (in linen or cotton it’s very light and airy) during summer to avoid the sun damaging my skin.

I saw other lovely photo's of Catherine which showed that she had a great time and was enjoying herself. Do I like the dress? No, again I think she looks old in it. This was a polo event. I think one of her pantsuits would be better. On the positive side she is not wearing white shoes.

Lovely color and pattern, but she is completely covered up from head to toe…again. I’m not attacking her personally, she’s amazing, but if her hair was in a bun, the outfit is exactly what women in strict religious communities wear everyday.

Yes agree, she makes me think of a woman in a (beautiful) dress of the Amish community … only need to cover a bit her head 😂

This colour looks gorgeous on her. I think the style of the dress and the bag is just a perfect outfit for the occasion.

A very similar dress to the Emilia Wickstead one that the DoE wore earlier. I like that both dresses are in pleasing tones of blue (with white), and both dresses are light and summery. As for the time and place for wearing each, that is debatable.

I like the dress this time, nice. With snickers and important silver jewellery, it would have been perfect. Irene

  12. This is a very pretty silk dress, the skirt has plenty of swish and movement. Love the colors, elegant. Her bag is gorgeous, love the contrast color of her shoes.

Pretty, because flowing. A tad more skin, especially around the neckline, would be nice. GM

Si Kate avait un peu plus de rondeurs, la robe y gagnerait en apparence. Mais sa sveltesse est quasi dérangeante. En portant la même robe juste en bas du genou, peut-être que l'effet serait plus attrayant. Rose.

The Princess looks beautiful in this dress and the Prince looks to be really enjoying this game. If it were me, I might have chosen a dress with shorter sleeves (or had this one altered - I do really like this dress) and a pretty pair of flats. But, it still looks lovely and summery.

I love the dress, and when you attend a polo match, there is a dress code, you don't wear sneakers or sandals, so she is following the etiquette, and looking lovely

    1. I didn't know about the dress code, thank you for the information, Luna. I like this kind of feminine dresses very much but wondered why she doesn't combine it with white Sneakers.

@Coralie … sneakers really don’t fit the elegance of British polo (nor Wimbledon, Ascot or country hunts). There is much traditional elegance in traditional British sport meetings.

This storied dress code must not have interested the BRF until this polo match. Because ALL the years before, short-sleeved clothing was unquestionably the clothing of choice.

And again - the Princess of Wales looks absolutely stunning, it's anything but a fashion fail, but... I don't like it. The dress is a bit bland and the fabric reminds me of a nightie my grandma wore. Since Catherine could make a potato sack look good, she also manages to breathe life into my nana's frock, but I still wish she'd branch out a bit. Also hoping she'l put her hair up more often. I think a ponytail would've quite suited the occasion and they look good on her.

Love the colour on her, love the dress and her accessories for the day. To cover up for the day, what is wrong with it. She is protecting herself against the sun.
