King Charles and Queen Camilla's coronation was celebrated during a special ceremony in Scotland on July 5, 2023. King Charles and Queen Camilla were joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales at a national service of thanksgiving at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh, as part of Royal Week. During the ceremony, the King was presented with the Honours of Scotland, the oldest Crown Jewels in the world.

I love the colour of Catherines outfit and especially the contrasting fabrics of the deep V, pseudo-shawl collar. I also like her hat and her hair do. I don't care much for the outfit from the waist down. Catherine has a long, dropped waist (not necessarily a bad thing) and the length of the dress/coat overly accentuates that.

Not sure what they actually contribute but for sure dressed up with a display of heavy jewels for Kate at formal or less formal events. Her style is conservative as per her role, i can get that, but she dresses like the late Queen and she’s only early 40s!

Catherine looks flawless and beautiful as always. But I don't like it personally. It's just too matchy-matchy and the updo, the hat, the necklace... while all appropriate and pretty, it ages her tremendously. While I wasn't a big fan of the coat back in 2022 either, I much preferred her styling then over this one. She wore a pillbox hat, minimalist jewellery and her hair in a half-up. So much more youthful and flattering. Also not sure if a coat is the best thing to wear with this rather hot weather. I hardly ever see other royals in these coat dresses. I sometimes feel like she's cosplaying as the Princess of Wales rather than just being herself. Sorry, Catherine. While striking, it's a no from me!

حذفThe Duchess of Rothesay (aka The Princess of Wales) in a re-wear from Easter this year but paired with a different hat this time. I did expect the rest of the bunch to appear in the Robes of the Order of the Thistle and I was right with my prediction. Sorely missed are the Edinburghs (been to NHS 75th Anniversary Service at Westminster Abbey) and Anne Princess Royal. So, there was an only thinly spread out presence of royals on this festive occasion in Edinburgh today. A bit sad, imho. They could have send the Gloucesters or the Mapelli-Mozzis to attend NHS, so that the Edinburghs could have come to - erm - Edinburgh. Also, Anne was there at yesterday's garden party, so her absence today is a bit inexplicable to me.

Although a great admirer of Kates sense of style, this time there is something missing for me.I think with the small hat the proportions of the total outfit are not right: it makes the coat too long.

ردحذفI think her signature "uniform" has worn thin. It is very easy to predict what she will wear to these events, we only need to guess the color.

This is a beautiful colour on The Princess, the style is a no for me. She needs more fullness around the hips to give her some shape in a dress or coat. This outfit ages her beyond her years, her stylist have to up their game, too repetitive lately. Dress her to her age she is not fifty yet, so stop dressing as a fifty year old woman.

This gorgeous coat was certainly worth a repeat, but she must be setting a record for fastest turnaround time. I'm afraid the second headpiece is less successful than the previous, but that fab choker makes up the difference entirely.

I'm on the fence about the hat because I have liked the hats she has worn with this outfit in the past better. I also like that she chose to wear blue to reflect the Scottish flag--thoughful diplomatic dressing.

Unfortunately these very tight coat dresses are not a good choice for her body type. Monochromatic colour choices just underline her stickyness. She could look great but she hardly ever does. -Siri
ردحذفThe Princess of Wales coat don't look like a summer outfit to me even if the weather was not that hot. Everybody is talking about the hat looking cheap, I don't know. What I do know is that the whole outfit looked boring : the shape, the color, the accessories everything. King and queen and crown prince in their ceremonial coats and hats. King Charles needs a haircut as soon as possible or did he decided to let his hair grow ? What I noticed about Prince William is that he often looks like he is in a bad mood.
