14:06 need to update her decency, because I guess this is not how she want us to talk about her, ergo we don't talk about others that way either. If we don't have a strange need to disgrace onself normal politness is not to deny.

Oh dear! Marie Teresa’s dress, a no no this time! Beside being too flashy and extravagant, it makes her look wider and shorter. Does not do her any favour unfortunately!

My opinion: The only elegantly dressed woman in the photos is the wife of the German president.
The Grand Duchess of Luxembourg in a strange green fisherman's coat has too much of everything - too much makeup, too much glitter, too much Botox.

Well Stephanie we could be just a little nicer. Tell me where she had to much botox and compare her to Kate, Mary, Charlene, Letizia, Madeleine, Victoria other botox users who never gets comments like this. Why? https://www.newmyroyals.com/2023/07/grand-duchess-maria-teresa-attended.html

The German president’s wife looks ok but very dull. That jacket/coat ?? The green dress is nice but the sleeves are too overpowering and a little less volume on the dress itself would have been better for GDMT.

I agree with previous comments on the green dress of the Grand Duchess. Love her lipstick. I'm wondering who took the pictures in the palace: they are taken at an odd height. Strange.

Elke Budenbender looks lovely. She just looks chic. Great tailoring. Now, GD Maria Teresa's look is a disaster. Way too bright. Way too much fabric that does her no justice. If she would just wear some tailored clothing... And her heavy eyeshadow and hairstyle here are not her best look.

    2. Speaking about advice to her, I agree with Tulipe that her Carolina Herrera contacts should have mentioned reservations for her, or offer to adapt somehow for her, eg on sleeves.

I like the green dress, but it seems too party-frock for the occasion, and maybe too young for MT. It’s nice to see her in something other than pants or a caftan though.

Germany’s first lady’s look is blah in my opinion. The mint dress may be nice, but paired with the pale gray coat, it is not a polished look. Also, the black shoes do not go with the pale color palette of her clothes. S.M.

The dark green of EB's shoes do not go with the pale color palette of her clothes. The green of the shoes has a yellow undertone, whereas the dress has a blue undertone. S.M.

Disagree, the shoes don't have a yellow undertone in reality, everything is well coordonated!

I think this dress’s kelly green color is very pretty on HRH GD Maria Teresa, but the design of it unfortunately is not a good choice for her. Honestly I’m not sure it would be a good choice for anyone and it seems to me a rare Carolina Herrera fail. I would have guessed this came from a different designer. I do like the shoe color choice with the outfit.

I think the pale yellow sweater and skirt combo on the museum guide is very pretty - the color elevates what might otherwise look very utilitarian to fresh and summery. The guide is one of those rare people who can wear a skirt that stops right at the knee and look good.

I actually like the green dress on the GD. If the sleeves were flatter more like the model it would of been better. Personally I find the bell sleeves difficult to wear, they tend to get in the way. But she wears it well.

I don't think, that Frau Büdenbenders dresses are too short, they are perfect for summer. And by the way, she has to pay for her clothing, as there is no "first Lady". She is a working woman as a Richter in Berlin.

  25. Elke Budenbender looks superb, though the length of her coat, I feel should be a little lower. She looks streamlined and elegant. GDMT looks lovely in this shade of green, I love this color. The bell sleeves and skirt of this ensemble are creating too much bulk and width. Looking at the sample photo, someone talker would carry this outfit off more successfully. The overall appearance lacks elegance.

Beautiful color but dreadful style for MT. The excessive fabric and ruffles totally overwhelm her--she is too short in stature and curvy to wear this style--and she is shortwaisted so the belt is right underneasth her bustline. Would love to see how Carolina Herrera envisioned this in her design with a photo of a model. Will say its nice to see her in a dress--she's been in trousers and long dresses/skirts for a very long time now.
