On June 7, 2023, The Princess of Wales visited Maidenhead Rugby Club in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The Princess met with local and national men's rugby players to discuss her 'Shaping Us' campaign and raise awareness about the importance of early childhood. The Princess launched her Shaping Us campaign in January 2023. The Princess of Wales is patron of the Rugby Football Union.

Just my view: long hair is neither silly nor smart.
It all depends on the woman who wears it regardless of her age.
Some women can , some others can't for a number of reasons.
I don’t agree with the word ‘silly’. But quite aggressive comments from the pro club again !! Heated fight back every single time people dare to mention the hair ! Mad stuff !

Catherine looks good in this casual outfit, my only negative comment is her eye makeup, it is too heavy.
ردحذفI have the same though: too heavy make up ages her a lot. Her eye make up as dark seems to be her trademark. Personally i find it ugly, does not brighten her face, just age her! Perhaps without make up it would be worse (or younger?) … who knows!

حذفYou cannot compare another time and another generation. I don't know about Princess Margaret but the Royal Family in general is very sporty and outdoorsy. QEII loved horseriding, Princess Anne was an European champion and Olympic athlete, Princess Diana played tennis. So yes I can imagine earlier royals doing this.

ردحذفI think, first of all, you mean "she" instead of "he". And the ring might in fact be ugly to some, like perhaps you, but it is still a historic, significant piece. She wears it on most of her public outings. Maybe it would have been better to indeed forgo wearing it for this engagement for practical reasons, but it's entirely her problem how she's dealing with that particular jewel on that particular occasion. To call it "ugly big old ..." is quite mean-spirited, imho.

Just to name a few: too skinny, silly hair, leave the chunky ring at home, botoxed/work done, eye make-up too heavy, etc. So, that is not exactly what I would call putting her on pedestal.

Kate is a good looking woman, no doubt, no one denies, but she is still an average good looking, compared to many other beauties, not a goddess if you read most comments. And you’re right, none of us know her or know any royals enough to be able to judge.
When i said ‘worth’ i meant the view of her beauty, i think she’s over rated. Good for her. Fortunately all of us have different preference on beauty, but on this blog, it’s a bit funny to read, more balanced on the blog with other royals i think. People agree more easily or at least respect and accept various opinions. Not on this blog when it comes to Kate. My opinion is just a remark, do not mean to start a controversial debate.

I must say i agree with Rosie and echo her opinions. I don’t like the extremism on this blog, some comments from the fans sound over the top sometimes with compliments. And it’s hard to read how aggressive they can be to defend Kate. Suppose to be a blog to share our various opinions, and accept different opinions. I usually skip when see post about Kate, know straight away there will be some passionate comments from head to toe about her and heated fight back if someone disagree with the majority. A pity!

I love her ponytail up, she looks great. The club could not ask for a better patron. She thrives on occasions like this, sport and appears to really enjoy herself. My heart goes out to Sarah Renton (lady in 3rd photo with the Princess) Losing her daughter Issy. Mental illness is insidious and nasty. Age does not discriminate. RIP Issy xxx
