On June 23, 2023, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the inauguration of the new artwork "Love couple on the rock" by the artist Stina Persson in connection with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Stockholm's City Hall. The artwork, a bronze sculpture, is a tribute to love and is placed outside the City Hall's entrance to the Vault of Hundreds. The building was inaugurated on Saturday 23 June 1923, which was believed to be the 400th anniversary of Gustav Vasa's entrance into Stockholm.

حذفBut I feel the design of the dress itself looks like it is made of 2 different half-dresses. The full, gathered skirt with lace cut-outs (is that broderie anglaise?) and scalloped hem are feminine, graceful, soft. Whereas the top is a shirtwaist, structured and crisp. Both look good, but do they belong together on the same dress? S.M.

Victoria looks marvelous here! Love the dress and the pale blue accessories. Again, she needs that dressmaker's tape for her belt. I do like how she has styled the sleeves--much better look than the full length on the model.

ردحذفI love Victoria's dress. It spells summer to me. My only quibble is that the skirt should have been a bit shorter and slightly more flared so it doesn't just hang. I love the scalloped edge, the folded sleeves, and the ice blue colour.

ردحذفI love the lacy pattern on the bottom of the dress. As always Victoria looks happily engaged with everyone. Sweden is very lucky to have such a personable future Queen!
ردحذفNow, this is a better look than the floral print dress from her previous engagement. Still, the dresses make her look older than she actually is. Perhaps it's that shirt dress style which is a little unflattering on her, not sure, though.

حذفNo matter what comments about Prince Daniel’s suit are made, he continues to wear his double breasted ‘on-duty’ uniform.

On the odd occasion when we’ve seen him in casual/sporting gear, all I can say is that he’s yummy.
Beautiful, feminine dress, love the color of her shoes and clutch. Daniel always looks well groomed, his suits always fit perfectly. Its so nice to see a well dressed and groomed man and Prince.

ردحذفA beautiful summer dress that fits well and flatters CPV. My only quibble is the earrings which look very ordinary. I wish she would add some better quality jewelry for daytime events. As an example, semi-precious stones aren’t all that expensive but would really elevate her look. (V.M.)

Love the dress and Victoria wears it well. I’m just not a fan whatsoever of her hair style. I have curly hair but most don’t know because I use protein treatments and smoothing shampoos. An ionic hair dryer keeps my hair looking smooth and shiny even during humid summers. I feel like she’s wasting her youth with such a frumpy hair style. MR
