On Constitution Day of Denmark, June 5, 2023, Queen Margrethe attended the inauguration of a new banner of the Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) on the island of Bornholm. The new banner became the Agency's first royally inaugurated banner.

The inauguration took place at the Emergency Management Agency's barracks in Allinge, which is the agency's operational department on Bornholm. According to tradition, the Queen drove the first nail in the flag, and then the Royal Life Guards Band performed the Queen's parade march.

    Nice to see Queen Margarethe looking more like her usual self (bright and smiling). May her recovery continue unimpeded.
    She has worn this combination before (or very similar) and looks as good in it now as she did before.

      It was after her divorce that Lady Di was wearing beautiful dresses and ensembles. Her hair was always great in those days too. I remember my colleagues and me tried to find earrings that looked like Lady Di's. I still have them (the pearls are not real, the golden parts are not real gold and the little stones are not real diamonds but they still look good).

    Queen Daisy (the earrings match her nickname) is back!!! She looks marvelous--bright, happy, and elegant in her Danish red and white. Her smile is radiant.

      What is wrong now? The reaction to this outfit being reminiscent of Princess Diana's style is a compliment. It was hardly a comparison. Maybe you read it wrong?

    Red is definitely the Queen's color. This outfit looks beautiful. She is looking stronger, and better. Very happy and engaging. Happy to see her out and about.
