Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan attended the opening ceremony of the National Recovery Symposium, a three-day event organized by The PEMA Secretariat, aiming to help address the issues of substance use disorders. The first Symposium was held under the theme "Substance use disorder is preventable and treatable, and recovery is possible".
Queen Jetsun Pema is currently expecting her third child. The baby is expected in early autumn. King Jigme Khesar and Queen Jetsun Pema have thanked everyone for their good wishes as they shared their happy news last week.
