Princess Benedikte of Denmark presented The Elsass Foundation's 2023 International Research Award to Professor Richard Lieber from Northwestern University in Chicago. American professor Richard Lieber received the prize of one million Danish kroner for his research, which contributes to the understanding of the diagnosis of cerebral palsy.
Every two years, The Elsass Foundation rewards a researcher who makes a unique effort and makes a difference in the field of cerebral palsy.
Princess Benedikte is patron of The Elsass Foundation, which is a Danish private foundation working to improve the quality of life for people with cerebral palsy (CP) and their families. Every two years, The Elsass Foundation Research Prize is awarded by Princess Benedikte at the Foundations’ premises in Charlottenlund, Denmark.

I love the contrasting colors in the dress--that soft pastel blue is gorgeous--and that it is actually a simple shirtwaist dress but is elevated to a dressier look by the sleeves and soft draping of the skirt. One thing is clear, Benedikte also has marvelous taste too.

This is a simple but elegant beautiful summer dress. The color combination looks very effective, love the two tone shoes. Her double strand pearl necklace and pearl earrings, finish this outfit off beautifully. She is always well groomed. She never fails to impress, a real support to the Queen.
